My husband rented a vehicle from this facility, I went with him to pick him up and return the vehicle. He rented the vehicle from online from their website and had reserved a traverse or the option was something similar he also paid for it in advance. This was 2-3 weeks in advance the time comes to pick up the vehicle he ordered, my husband spoke with an associate and he says there is no 3rd row suv available, however he could rent a mini van, which ended up being a Pacifica Chrysler, the trip was the following day to which my husband called me while I was outside with our children waiting to give me the news. Of course, I was NOT excited ? to be in a mini van, I told him to get a suv from elsewhere and to get the money back. However, he convinced me to give it a try as we were out of time for options as the trip was the following day. He ended up renting it, and it was actually GREAT ? ? ?. IT WAS A 2023 PACIFICA CHRYSLER, SUPER SPACIOUS FOR OUR FAMILY OF 5, I NOTICED THE DRIVE WAS SO SMOOTH, HE DID SUCH AN EXCELLENT JOB ?. THE PROS SPACE, GOOD GAS MILAGE, EASY GET THE CHILDREN IN AND OUT, GOOD ENGINE HE SAYS, TONS OF FEATURES LIKE ANDROID CONNECT, TONS OF SAFETY FEATURES WHILE DRIVING AND REVERSING, MY HUSBAND MENTIONED THE VEHICLE HITTING THE BRAKING ON ITS ON WHEN THE CAMARA DETECTING A BRANCH FROM A TREE AS HE WAS PARKING IT IN THE AVIS PARKING LOT FURTHER, THE AUTO WIPERS, FOR NOW THATS WHAT HE RECALLS, IT GOT US TO AND FRO, SO OVER ALL IT WAS GOOD. we both we're happy on our trip. The CONS where he says nothing he said the mini van was surprising a sweet ride especially for the whole crew of 5. HOWEVER THE ONLY REMARK I HAVE IS THAT SITTING ON THE PASANGER SIDE I NOTICED THERE WAS A FOOT MARK ON THE TOP OF THE WINDSHIELD. IT WAS SOMETHING I HAD TO STARE AT HERE AND THERE! MY HUSBAND TOLD ME TO BE CAREFUL AS THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T CLEAN IT BEFORE GIVING IT TO US, AND THE 'MARK' is still there, ill go through my pictures and upload it later, anyway Before dropping of the van my husband took it to the gas station to fill it up as it was previously, he also vacuumed it and washed it, When we dropped of the mini the service was good, we were in and out quite quickly. Over all good ?

Denied me the car because I booked the night before and they said other people booked before me. Well I got there on time and none else was there waiting so... First come first served right? Nop, not in this place.Make me change my whole day thanks to their inability to resolve their overbooking problems.Will never do business with this company.

I’f I could give this location a negative 1,000 I would happily do so. I’ve rented from Avis for years and have become accustomed to their vehicle standard. This location does not meet the Avis standard.My rental car was previously smoked in, the front end shook at 50mph and the steering wheel sounded like crushing metal when turning, not to mention the cosmetic damage to the vehicle.I had to exchange the vehicle at O’Hare Airport. When arriving at Avis O’Hare, they thought it was my vehicle and not theirs. They could not believe that someone rented the vehicle to me.When returning returning the exchanged vehicle and explaining the inconvenience they caused me, the rep had nothing to say, no apology or anything.The customer service is below Avis Standard, the quality of their vehicles is a hit or mess, the safety standard of their vehicles should be audited as they’re renting cars to precious cargo “human lives.”I reached out to Avis Customer Support regarding this location carelessness and negligence.While this location may be convenient, I’ll make the home 30 miles to the airport location for better customer service, quality vehicles and safety standard.

I prepaid for a car 2 months ago to find out the day of pickup they gave my car away. They said they tried to call me but every business except for them is able to dial my phone number.

Potential cyber attack on your rental order. I got a fraud charge during my rental while traveling Quebec Canada. Customer service is very rude when I call back.

Car issue with hold/charge. Being confused and literally said, this is a serious issue what’s the next step. “It’ll be sent to collections”. That’s the next first step? No call corporate. No bill in mail. No receipt for drop-off till I had to ask. Etc etc. He might be used to this or something being his response, it doesn’t effect me after apologizing saying similar as posted. Can’t train character, it always shines through.

Didn't have any cars. I reserved a Camry or similar. They only had 3 minivans. Took one for same price as what I had reserved. Inside was dirty.

I didn't rent from this location. I could find the Budget location I rented from in Lisle inside the Hyatt Hotel 1400 Corporeal Drive Lisle, IL.My rental was a Chevrolet Equinox. I had 3 issues with the condition of the car. The only reason why I kept the car is I was on a tight schedule, didn't want to cancel and go through the process of waiting for another vehicle as they had very limited rentals & the condition of the car didn't hinder the operation of the vehicle. 1. The outside of the vehicle was partially clean, it still had a slightly noticeable dead bugs on the front bumper. The agent tried to explain the car had been washed but it's difficult to remove dead bugs that hit the car when driving on rural highways. I am a female & not new to renting cars or ritual highway driving. I didn't need or want the excuse, just acknowledge the car wasn't throughly clean. I told him, I knew how dead bugs on cars accumulate. 2. The car was clean on the inside, but it smelled of cigarette smoke. I don't smoke, so for me the smell was stronger & noticeable. I thought the smell would go away after I drove away, it didn't. I purchased a small bottle of fabreeze spray & sprayed the vehicle. It helped a little. Thank God, it was a nice day. I was able to take my 3 hr highway drive one way with the windows open. 3. I noticed the windshield wiper fluid was very low the warning fluid light was on in the car & no I couldn't believe this was checked. The windshield was full of highway bugs, I couldn't remove them with no windshield fluid during my inbound 3 hr trip. Thank God it rained the nxt day during my drive home. 4. The agent wasn't at the location when I returned the car on the next day Monday morning during their open business hours. I left the key in their drop box. I called corporate the same day, I returned the car. I made my complaint with customer service. She apologized but didn't offer any discount for my inconvenience. I requested a discount. She offered & I accepted the 10% discount because I didn't have the energy to fight for a greater discount. It will take 3-4 days to be reimbursed for the 10% discount. . They have a sign in the vehicle about a $400.00 fine if a person smoke in the vehicle, which is why I made my complaint. I didn't want to be accused of that or any fraudulent fee from this establishment. I most definitely would have fought them in court if that had happened. Budget is horrible. I'll never rent from them again. I should have followers my first decision to rent via Turo as I do when I fly out of State.

Rented a car online. Arrive to the location for pick up and no available car. The man behind the desk was rude, unprofessional and didn't offer any solution other than come back or get a vehicle they have available and pay the difference. Will never use this location. It's a dump.

Rented a 12 person van for an outing, Avis confirmed the reservations multiple times , including the night before. The day of no vehicle for us. So unacceptable. They offered 2 vehicles 2 hours past the time I needed the van. So upset with this company. Would never recommend or use this place again.

Do not recommend. Refused to rent because they couldn't verify a valid drivers license. Called their customer service and they didnt find anything wrong with their system or my drivers license

After a horrible experience trying to rent a car at Ohare, I was able to book a rental the night before and picked it up the next morning, took 5 mins. Got my deposit back within a week. Easy pick up and return.

I have rented from this location many times for work trips. They didn't always have the correct car class for me, but usually put me in something nice and always made sure I was happy. The last few months the customer service has gone down hill fast. The guy they have working there now is not friendly and is pretty blunt to everyone that comes in the store.The last car I rented from this Aurora location had a nasty smoke smell in it which they knew about, but if I wanted a car that day, that's what I got. Then, he had me sign something stating I knew about the smell, I guess to protect me from being charged with it. During my trip, I stopped at a gas station and bought 3 Arm and Hammer car air freshners which helped but was only temporary.I will not be renting from this location anymore.

Reserved a car months ago, received numerous emails from them and even a reminder only to get there and NO CAR? BAD BUSINESS! Go elsewhere!

The worst experience. Both this location and the main customer service. Given completely contradictory information each time I spoke to them. They do not honor what they speak.
