Lowkey not that bad of a place, sad to see so many Americans not get enough food anywhere else though. I went in for my first time a week ago and had so much stuff I had to ask an employee to take some stuff back because it didn’t fit in my Uber eats bag. it’s a grocery store layout, so you get to pick and choose what you want, which is really good for me cause I really don’t like to eat meat or milk, so I can grab canned, boxed and fresh foods. the only reason why I gave it a 4 is because some of the quality of the food is not good or just expired so you have to eat the food quickly, or it will be rotten. most of the fresh foods were actually fresh and had good options. the worst part was the bread section, most were 2 months + expired and most of it was like French bread so not good for sandwiches. Overall, helpful people and clean and efficient system they have there. They even have a desert section with cookies and cakes, never seen that at a food pantry lol.

I volunteered here for around a year on and off. I actually loved it and loved the people. Only issue was the disrespect from certain staff there which I had put up with for a very long time until my last time coming here. It was the end of the day and one of the managers I won’t use his name out of respect asked me to do something but I had to leave and I had already stayed for an extra 40 minutes to help them. He said “I saw you throwing that ball in the air and you didn’t seem busy but alright” I had had a very long day up to that point and when he said that I felt really disrespected because not only had I spent the last 6 or so hours working for free after working a 8 hour shift the night before but also had decided to stay an extra 30 minutes to help them out. I said “I bust my a** for this place and you have the balls to say that” we started arguing back and forth and another manager brought us to the back after hearing us arguing and sent me home. The next week I came back to volunteer and I live 50 minutes from the food pantry so it’s not a ride down the street. They decided to tell me in person that I was no longer allowed there, couldn’t even let me know before the wasted my gas money and time. Anybody that has volunteered knows I am respectful to everybody and am very helpful and work very hard. They don’t appreciate you, they always act like you are doing something wrong and funny thing is they just watch you do all the work. There’s been times where they send me back and forth from one side to another getting stuff while they follow me around telling me what to do. Here’s a idea actually help for a change? There’s a reason they are so chunky. Marcy was cool and I don’t have any complaints about her and 98% of the other people here but mainly the managers. They’re creepy too they just spend the whole time talking to girl volunteers half their age. If you volunteer here you better come ready to work and don’t expect much appreciation. They do provide you with food whenever you need it and Marcy and the front desk ladies are very wonderful generous people. It really sucks I wasted so much time volunteering for people that really did not appreciate me. I have since then started volunteering at feed my starving children and differences are night and day. All thought they don’t feed you they allow you to take breaks and they are extremely appreciative. Nobody will disrespect you at feed my starving children. The work is very similar but I don’t mind it because of the difference in the environment. You feel a lot more welcome at feed my starving children. Not only that but sometimes at the food pantry the people receiving the food are rude and don’t appreciate you either. Again none of this regards Marcy and 98% of the people at the food pantry literally just two managers that ruin the whole experience.

The people here are awesome and full of all sorts of information for people in need. The food services are also incredible. They are again walk in and make choices now instead of just being given a box and hope there isn't anything in there you can't/won't use. Making it almost like shopping in a store is awesome.

What a wonderful crew of people at Interfaith they are always.helpful, courteous, kind, smiling to encourage your day if your in need of encouragement. Regards to how their day is going you never know it, they keep on going until the end just like that Energizer Bunny just keeps on ticking and serving with God's Grace. They guys outside are to be totally rewarded with words of kindness ,being outside thru ALL weather conditions now that's the awesome strong will of God Himself. I thank you all so very much from my heart and the ??? of so many others. Many without food not only the holidays but any day of life. We serve a God of prosperity and love for his children, just as he turned water to wine he sends nourishment to his children , we must all stay in faith and believe

I have a quick question, is there a way to do monetary donations in exchange for community service hours. I am a full time student and worker and I really don't have the time to volunteer.
