I brought my van into Clouser's for a minor repair as a new customer and they called and told me that it was ready to be picked up, but said that my radiator fan needed replaced. Since the fan was replaced just two years ago and has been working fine ever since I told them not to do any work on it. After getting the van back from them it started overheating whenever I was driving slow or stopping, which it was NOT doing before I brought it to them. I checked the radiator fan and it was not working. I got a flashlight and found the radiator fan was unplugged! I plugged it back in and the fan started working. But because of Clouser's dirty trick of unplugging my radiator fan a rod bearing has gone bad on my van and the engine is now ruined due to the overheating that they caused. I've never dealt with crooks as bad as this in my life! Shame on you Clouser's! Stay away from there if you don't want to get robbed or have your vehicle damaged! It's going to cost me $5,000 to put a new engine in the van!

1 star for making the mistake of paying for unfinished work, twice(my fault for not learning the first time). I left with the promise of work being finished and it appears it never will be. It’s a dishonest business.

We were traveling through Auburn IL, we discovered our brake line had rusted through . We weren't sure what to do we called Clouser Auto repair they said no problem bring it right in. We were so impressed with the quick and accurate service we received. What a delight and we were back on schedule in no time. We enjoyed working with Clouser Auto repair very knowledgeable very pleasant. What a blessing!!!!!!!!

I've been trying for last year and half to find someone who could find out why my husband's truck truck was pulling to the right and hard... had shocks replaced brake caliper and alignments and would still pull... Came here and they found it was his upper control arms. They got it right in and finished quickly very happy with the service. Thank you for finding the problem finally!

Owner is trustworthy and easy to work with. Labor rates are great. I never feel like they try to upsale me anything or add in unnecessary repairs.

Mr. Clowser who owns Clowser‘s auto repair, is a very nice guy, but his son is a smart Alec, and for this reason, I will never go back.

Charged 350 to rebuild brake calipers. Greased it and took my money. Brakes were still hanging. Front end was completely destroyed, entire rebuild. Cost me another 1200 just in the parts these incompetent "mechanics" destroyed. Find someone else. These guys are not timely, professional, I have no idea how they stay in business. If it wouldn't cost me more to sue them than I would get I would.
