Some of the pharmacy staff could be more courteous by slowing down just for a moment to be more personable and listen to your needs a bit more. “Outside of your doctor, your pharmacist should be your best friend. They are responsible for checking for medication interactions. They can also advise you of over-the-counter treatments to help you. The pharmacists at Walmart Pharmacy on Dirksen Drive are willing to assist their clients (you/me). In addition they are available to talk to you on the phone. When calling. Be aware of their busiest times, and avoid calling during those hours so they fill prescriptions written by doctors for you and other clients.”

“My coworker referred me to Nathan at Athen’s Pharmacy when I was struggling to get my prescription filled due to a national shortage. Nathan was able to get my prescription filled right away, and after interacting with him and having a great experience, I never returned to my old pharmacy. And I never will! I choose to drive 40 minutes out of my way to get my Rx from Nathan because he is truly the best. He meets any pharmacy needs, and he is the most personable, enjoyable pharmacist I’ve ever known.
