“Our "rest area" on our numerous trips from central Illinois to Quincy. Thankful for the clean restrooms and the chance to recharge with the good selection of drinks and snacks.”

The location offers a variety of hot and cold drinks including fountain drinks, fresh brewed coffee, a cappuccino machine, and pre-packaged drinks such as teas, sodas, frappuccinos, and fruit juices. You can purchase beer here, doughnuts, bagged snacks like chips, and a variety of candy and packaged foods.”

“Just a couple of pumps and a small selection of convenience store type items inside but this is in proportion to the needs of the community which is Astoria with a population of 1100. If it were a larger municipality I would rate it three stars. Hamblin's doesn't have the pizza and food selection of Klides at the other end of town and has no indoor seating but there is enough here for the traveler stopping by for gas and a drink or snack.”
