“The best Aldi's in the area. It's layout is much better than others; it flows nicely in terms of food layout, and even in spots where it doesn't (salsa isn't with Hispanic) it's still close by (the salsa is on the backside of that aisle with the veggies). The management hires very work-oriented and friendly people; to the person's review who complained about the pallet lifter being in the floor, they're moving and stocking inventory--it's ALDI. The store is only open 9-9, they have to restock and reorganize during store hours; they don't have the luxury of doing it in late night hours like 24 hour stores. The staff is always willing to drop everything to walk you over to something you need help finding (I'm an Instacart shopper so I stop them short of doing that, I don't want to put them off-track from what they're doing, I just have them point me) and if there's something that spilled they get on it immediately. The prices are also the best in the area; I've yet to see their strawberries cross a $3 threshold and are frequently on sale; milk, cheese and even some brand name cereals are far less expensive here (in the case of the latter the boxes are even family sized and priced equal or lower than a regular sized box at other stores--keep in mind though you could count on one hand how many brand name cereals there are). These are not random observations, I'm in the store at least five days a week getting people's grocery lists filled (Protip folks: tip your gig drivers well, as of this writing gas is averaging $5.39 a gallon--we're not shopping for your 50 item list for a $2 tip to drive 10 miles after 45 minutes work) and it is a well cooled store that uses the natural lighting well to illuminate the store during the day. A silly observation maybe but it has a nice feel when you're walking around in a cool temperature shopping in sunlight.”
“The store was clean and stocked. 2 of the 4 employees were very friendly and helpful. They didn't have what we went in for but we definitely didn't leave empty handed! ?”

2051 IL-50, Bourbonnais“Aldi is like many other grocery stores in that it has too many self-checkout counters and not enough humans checking out the shopping humans' purchases. To me, prices at Aldi seem to be lower than those at Kroger and Jewel. Rumor has it that Aldi is or will be lowering their prices further. These opinions are not necessarily facts, as I'm sure most people will realize.”
“The best spicy chicken in the area for the price my son will only eat there spicy fried chicken…. The service here is always great…. One of my favorite stores in the area!!!”
“It really is more a pet show and a social event than a Farmer's Market, but it is fun to go to. Many people go every week.If you go, do not miss the King Bee, himself, at the John Bailey Honey stand.”

990 N Kinzie Ave, Bradley“Great prices...great employees and extremely helpful...selection is crazy good...huge amount of free parking..really clean...best prices on bone in Rib-eyes and that's a 5 star for me. Also Ev charging with plenty of slots.”
“My 83 year old auntie was in your store recently and she had nothing but raving reviews. She was so impressed with cleanness of the Kankakee store . She was also able to get all her shopping done in one spot . She normally has to go to two or more stores to get all her shopping done. I wanted to let you know she says Jewel in Kankakee will be her shopping place. . Please take time let employees know that their doing a great and the store looks great D. Banks”
“Very nice cashier. Clean store doesn't smell like meat, I couldn't tell they had a meat counter. A bit pricey but it looks like a father son store. I'll be back.”
“I've known these guys since they 1st opened up! You tell them what kind of meat you like& they will have it by the end of the week. And plenty of it! They also have great sandwiches?!!!”

“A little on the ghetto side, it's pretty crowded in there. Some pretty serious hillbillies roam around in here. They have everything you might expect here, and it is a safe place to go, regardless of the hillbillies. Did not get asked to wear a mask, which I appreciate.”
“This Dollar General is so deserving of a 5 star rating. The effort is seen. The store is clean ??? the cleanest DG I have ever walked into. Totally has changed my mood about patronizing the establishment. Good use of their space. Aisles are free of rotainers and totes so you can walk freely down them. Merchandise aren't just thrown any and everywhere. Beautiful job ladies. The 4 stars is because of how the company works their employees. One lady told me that it has been weeks since she has had a day off and that just ain't right. I worked for the company before and can attest to this. They do not have a work life balance at all. I see nothing has changed. Glad I do not work for them anymore.”

145 Kennedy Dr, Bradley“Great customer service...the products (nightstands) were okay, some of the holes didn't quite line up and the corner was dented even though the box didn't show signs of damage . But for the price they will get the job done”

59 Sunset Dr, St Anne“Friendly, helpful employees. This store is one of the better Dollar General stores I have shopped in. They actually had product on the shelves, it was much cleaner, and there were fewer products sitting in the aisles on large carts waiting to be put where they belonged for the customers.”
“The worker was very polite and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed my 1st experience there we had a conversation about lottery and it totally made me do some thinking. I would definitely shop there again and also recommend to anyone.”
“Been to this location 3 different times since moving out this way and so far I am a fan of this location. Even if lot seems busier it never feels too busy in the store. Employees have all been friendly and most items seem to be well stocked.”
“Dollar General is Going Down in the Hole certain managers there are very rude will tell you to leave the store and don't come back they really need to do something with the management system my Dollar General in Streator down at Westgate Plaza”
“Friendly staff, even though they are short handed most of the time which I know can be very overwhelming and stressful, they still treat their customers with respect and care. They have good deals on meats and produce sometimes and they even have a game room that was put in a few months back. I only take away 1 star because of a small selection of products they have which I understand it's a very small town but sucks sometimes I have to drive all they way to Walmart if there is something I can't find when I get off work late.”
