Horrible and misleading staff. I came in and received an internet box to "test" out. I never even used the box and returned within two days of having the box. Now after checking my bill I am being charged $116 for the internet service that has never been used. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the business manager that helped me at this location. Now calling the customer service they noted I needed to also call in to cancel the internet service. This was never mentioned to me that in addition to returning the box I needed to cancel the service separately. Terrible terrible terrible!!!!! DO NOT TEST ANY SERVICES FROM THIS LOCATION they do not disclose all details.

It's hard to understand why people would act the way they do when they're involved in customer service, but this store is a good example of bad management. I have been owed a refund from Verizon for almost two months, and after four separate visits to this store, I still don't have it. Instead, what I got was Liz the Manager and her incompetent co-worker unable to fix things, then passing the buck off to "someone else" at Verizon for not getting my refund. When I was on the phone with customer service and Liz at the same time, she literally got called out by the CS agent for trying to shift the blame away from her, then angrily hung up on us both when her anger got the best of her. When I was in the store earlier, Liz was more concerned with where her store placed in the local sales region listing for Verizonnl, as she showed off some reports to another co-worker. If you're buying something from this Arlington Heights store, they'll be really nice to you....but if you need help, prepare for nothing at all, long waits while nothing gets done, and a nasty attitude from the woman who runs the store. Stay with Verizon, they're a good phone company, but this specific store is trash.

Its good to have an appointment! I didnt have one but wait wasnt bad at all there was enough associates to get everyone moving quickly I had a gentleman named Doug he was awesome at his job and got me a good deal on my plan and adding additional lines! place is clean environment is refreshing parking is available they have a lot of room for parking! Good job I like this Verizon location good job staff

Institutionalizing a sense of urgency at this location is something that could be worked on. A lot of unecessary small talk with customers especially when all seats are full at check-in. Employees should have Verizon's values at the center in everything that they do.

Walked in order was ready in the locker. As my phone didn’t really work at the time they assisted me to get on WiFi and in to grab my order. Very helpful

Terrible customer service. Got told twice by a team member (in person) to just go to the apple store if I want an iPhone. Then when he found out I wasn't the manager of the account he completely ended our conversation and moved on to other customers

Verizon bought a company from T-mobile called Simple Mobile. I spent 2 hours on the phone w them and couldn’t get my phone on the system. A manager at this Store says they don’t support Simple Mobile so can’t help. So buy a cheap service that’s supposed to be self help, doesn’t work, not our problem. I’ll be happy to change rating if someone calls me to fix

This is nice clean verizon store with a lot of helpful friendly staff. This is usually a busy location so you might have to wait bit to be helped, but I feel like that how must phone companies are. I would still recommend this location for your Verizon needs.

Had extremely frustrating experience interacting with Doug. I came to the store last week to buy a new Apple phone. Doug found out from me upfront that I am just going to get a phone without buying insurance and accessories, mentioned that he would not ever buy anything from Amazon and does not recommend it to me and then left for a minute and came back stating that he does not have any iPhones 13 in stock and suggested to buy a phone from BestBuy without offering a different apple device in Verizon store. I am coming to this Verizon store for many years and never had such an unpleasant experience with dishonest employee who does not have an idea about morale.

I walked in and tried to explain my issue and was immediately told about the wait and the cost would be $27. Again, I tried to explain the problem was not my doing but he refused to even listen. The next day I went to the Vernon Hills Verizon store where my phone was fixed by some great people, Morgan and fellow associates and I was not charged. Real customer service.

Wait 2 hours just to trade my phone in from a purchase 2 days prior. Was told it would only be 30-40 min wait, with only one person ahead of me (Wasn’t able to wait as I work the overnight shift at a hospital) so the person checking me in said that it was fine and that I would just have to grant access when they texted me. waited for 2 hours and only after I called the service number and talked with Tommi, she called the store and than I got that text message. I appreciate all that she did to help with the situation at hand.
