Colin was amazing to work with! He explains everything in detail and also in simple terms (which I needed). If you don’t like reading long and boring documents, he makes convenient and informative videos that clarify everything he discusses with you over the phone. He helped make the purchase of my home a lot less complicated. I appreciate his help and I would recommend Colin to anyone looking for a lender that’s knowledgeable, honest and kind.

I could not more highly recommend Michael Blackhall with Town & County Mortgage. I am a small business owner and not only did Michael help navigate my more complicated borrower underwriting and loan approval process, but we threw him some last minute changes and moved the closing up a couple of days too. Buying a house is a stress-filled adventure. This was the first time my wife and I bought a home and we had no idea what it really takes to make that happen. Having Mike there to guide us through the process and take care of so many things in the background on our behalf made the process of getting a mortgage smooth and easy so we could focus on the other things that we needed to do. In the chaos we went through to purchase our home, Mike made securing our financing the easiest and smoothest part.

Town & Country Mortgage is by far the best company in helping people find a proper loan for any home. I was pre-approved with another company and they dropped the ball last minute due to minor logistic reasons. Michael Blackhall did what I thought could not be done anymore, and that is find a lender for me in a TIMELY manner and allowed me to close in less than 3 weeks! I recommend Town & country Mortgage to anyone looking for an experienced/knowledgeable lender team and a hassle free home buying process.

We closed on a house last week, and my experience with Michael is for 10 stars.
Before we started searching for a house we tried loan officer from our local bank and then two of the big online lenders every one failed miserable we are treated like objects "Next Please " we ware left with more questions then answers. I was ready to give up, and maybe faith got me to drive by a sigh on Arlington Heights rd where he was located. In one meeting, he explained what has to be done by me what not to do and two weeks and a couple of phone calls later we are approved for closing. Very Very Easy

Working with Colin Barr at Town & Country Mortgage was a great process from start to finish! I would highly recommend Colin as your mortgage lender, Everything that could go wrong actually went wrong in my case but he able to resolve every single issues we faced. I would call him a miracle worker. Which he is. if you are looking to buy a home. Colin was always very professional and kept me up-to-date on everything. I was given Mike's name from a friend of my son's who had done business with him before, and my son also did his last mortgage with him. I cannot say enough about how professional he was and how appreciative I am for working with Mike at Town & Country Mortgage. My realtor has said that she will give his name to any person that comes to her as he was right on the spot whenever we needed something. Even the realtor who sold us the house complemented us on having a great financial person. She needed some paperwork and once I called Mike, she had it within an hour or so. The realtor commented that most of the time she had to wait for a day or two to get the paperwork but not with Mike. She also mentioned that she would give Town & Country Mortgage a plug to any of her clients. So, if you are looking for a great financial person to get you a mortgage, call Town & Country Mortgage -- you won't regret it!
