I took my two African American sons into this place as it was close to where we live. The stylist took my son back and did not say she could not cut his hair. Once she was done, I asked her nicely to blend the fade line a bit and square/line him up in the front and back. She became very rude and said “I’m not a barber, I’m a stylist”. She said she had not used clippers before and said she has not cut African American hair before and still charged us even though she knew we were not happy. She put some gel in his hair that stuck it together and cut it in different lengths and ruined his hair he’s been growing out for months. She started asking other customers if she was justified in not knowing how to line up his hair and if it looked good. They also suggested we go to a place that cuts African American hair. We walked out after paying and. I chose not to have my other son’s or my hair cut here and had to have my son’s hair repaired.

I had three things happen while I was here:
1) Asked for a simple cut. Sides and back were fine, top was a total mess.
2) Received a hot towel. Stylist whipped it over the top of my head and the corner hit me in the eye.
3) Gave the stylist 22% tip, very fair considering the haircut was trash and my eye was still stinging. No smile and she barely managed to mutter a "thank you."

Staff are friendly and professional. Lisa did a color dip on my daughter’s hair and it looked beautiful.

Had a great haircut with stylist Lisa and the place was clean and well decorated… but some of the lights were out so it was a little darker than it could have been and every single chair had tape on the seat… making it look wore down. If I had shorts on it would not have been very comfortable…It surprises me that the owner doesn’t keep up the shop to what a Supercuts should be

I’ve been a Supercuts customer for 18 years in down town Chicago.Just moved to this area, so I made an Appmnt at this location.Got there on time, waited 35 min.Kimberly called my name but someone else got up.Turns out they were behind 40 min. Which I can understand but I didn’t know what was going on so I asked Kimberly if they respected appointments or what the policy was.She turned to me with the most disrespectful attitude and said:“You have to wait, THIS IS NOT JIMMY JOHN’S (referring to the sandwich place which was next door)I’m not sure if she was having a horrible day or if she hates her life but I told her I didn’t appreciate been disrespected as a customer when the only thing I did was asked a question.As I was walking away she yelled at me:“Aren’t you canceling your appointment?Are just just walking away like that?With all the sarcasm in the world..my name is Giancarlo G.Appmnt. Diane was wonderful! She gave me the BEST shampoo I have had in years! She listened to what I wanted done to my hair, and did it! My hair feels so good, and looks great! Will be bringing my son within the next week or so! Highly recommend!!

It all depends on who you get. Dolly is horrible, plus nasty too. if you get her, Id pass & wait for the next person. Laura is great as is Diane. Everyone else who was decent has left there.
