I have been coming here for over a decade. I’m specifically going to be referencing their service department. I am keeping this at 2 stars instead of 1 just because my original purchase was great and my service was wonderful for almost 10 solid years. Over the past year or so the general service has declined significantly. I can verify they do hustle for good reviews, so take the Google rating with a grain of salt. They’ve broken things in my car (broken the air bag and window functionality of my rear passenger side), as well as attempting to sell me things that I definitely don’t need. This was never like this in the past. I used to deal with Brian P, who has since moved to a different GMC dealer. I can’t stress how much I miss working with this individual. The experiences I’ve had since his departure have been tremendously lackluster. Most recently, I had a tire blow out while driving. Tires that were purchased from them a few months ago. They are an authorized Pirelli dealer. They wanted me to pay for a new tire, with the service guy having no clue that they were an authorized dealer who has to handle the Pirelli warranty on their end. It was suggested that I contact Pirelli to make this happen, when Pirelli literally tells you to just go to an authorized dealer and the warranty will be verified and confirmed. Instead of them doing their job, they thought they should just charge me for a new tire. I complained, and I got a “one time customer loyalty” replacement. The idea that their own people don’t know what they are an authorized dealer for, and how the warranty process works is pretty wild. When this was Sullivan GMC, they had a whole “if you’ve gotten this work done here before, you only pay the labor if you have to do that work again” policy. This policy has gone away with this Tasca ownership group, despite the fact that when ownership of a business changes, the previous contract must be maintained. This whole thing is just unfortunate. I have a 12 year old car, obviously will be in the market for a new car soon, and I just feel like I’m now constantly dealing with subpar assistance and service. While I appreciate them “comping” the tire, it should’ve never even been brought to me with a price. The tire has 3k miles on it, max. I’m just frustrated after years of going to a stealership instead of a mom and pop, but I always felt so comfortable coming here (100 percent because of Brian P) that I never really considered going somewhere else. This is officially over. I will not buy my next car from here because of the experiences I’ve had the past year. It is unfortunate also, since I am definitely buying another GMC. I love my truck. This whole experience has just ended any potential of me patronizing this company (tasca) again. Just a bummer. I live two minutes away also. Guess I’m headed to Barrington when its buying time. I hope some folks take the time to read this review, as its a review that is actually unsolicited. Good luck with your choices.

My relationship with Arlington Heights Buick (recent new name), formerly Sullivan Buick, actually originates back to the old days of Joe Mitchell Buick in Mount Prospect, IL.
Mike Baker, service manager, and I have known each other for over 20 years. He has always been gracious and courteous to me displaying a willingness to work on my two older cars and remedy their problems. These last several years, he has assigned to me a dedicated service writer, Brian Poteracki, to work with my service issues. This direct communication is great and facilitates the service process in an easy, customer oriented, efficient manner.
Recently, my 2002 LaSabre needed service and the symptoms became more revealing and complicated. Brian was determined to get to the bottom of the escalating problem.
Communication was excellent. And finally the correct solution was completed.
Thank you Brian for taking the time to get to the appropriate remedy for my older Buick.
I might add that courtesy shuttle rides to and from my home in Arlington Heights are always extended to me.
They also are willing to work on my very ancient 1984 Oldsmobile Delta Royale and keep it running and safe to drive.
Relationships matter. And Brian and Mike and AH Buick keep me comfortable and safe driving my two older cars. I have got to believe they really enjoy working with customers.
A huge thank you! All good.

Brought my new Buick in for my first check up and oil change .Was treated promptly and with courtesy. I waited for my car in the lounge. Had a cup of coffee and drove away with my rejuvenated car about an hour later. Only regret was there were no car washes that day. Alas, it was a cloudy day!

What a shock! I had a little accident with my car and learned my car must have been in a major accident prior to me owning it. I thought these guys were legit, ruin awakening! Nothing in the carfax no disclosure by them. So disappointed
Old review:
Today closed my deal and my faith in people. Today I experienced a business who stand by their word, and works with integrity. Ariel and Mike restored my faith in car dealerships today. Probably the MOST attention ever paid to a clients needs!! I recommend anyone who wants to purchase a vehicle, and have a trusting relationship when buying a car.....Go To SULLIVAN!! Thank you Ariel and Mike, you turned my fear and distrust of car dealerships around 100%!

I purchased an Acadia Denali in 2015. Andrew Allen was extremely helpful in helping me find my 2024 and went above and beyond!
When the car arrived Andrew helped us get set up and move the final pieces transferred to the new Denali. He is still helping me with questions!
When we closed the deal Mike was still there from 2015 and we remembered each other. It’s a great family to be a part of. I love living the GMC lifestyle!

Amazing experience. Shelley kept reaching out bc my lease was ending. My life was in turmoil. I was trying to take my father downtown to a hospital for treatment for cancer and extremely busy. My house had flooding as well so I was dealing with daily contractor issues. Eventually, my dad was moved to hospice and passed away. Shelley gave me a great car at a great price and drove it to me. She is outstanding.

Don't recommend. Once you buy the car and find something wrong right after the purchase, unfortunately they are done with you. Would not use them again for future car purchase or recommend.

I appreciate David Keas’s attentiveness. When everyone else seemed to be off in their own world. He was very helpful and attended to all my needs and concerns. Last time I was there it was less than a pleasant experience. I wouldn’t have came back for an oil change. If I didn’t need a dealer specific part. So chanced giving it a second shot. Eric (the parts guy’s name I think) was also very friendly. David deserves 5 stars! But 3 overall. Which would be a bump up from last time I visited. Which would have been maybe 2 stars. It would be nice to have a quicker oil change experience?? 1 1/2 hours with an appointment is kind of crazy in my opinion.
***Update to last review***
Don’t go here!!! I have a 2019 sierra gmc truck. I bought I brand new. Now all of a sudden I’m low oil?? Says my dashboard… Checked my dipstick on level ground with truck off for 30 minutes. Wiped it cleaned then checked level. It was bone dry??♂️My last oil change was here. I’m not seeing any smoke come out of my exhaust or other places. No dripping oil in my garage or elsewhere. So where did this oil go? Or was it partial filled when changing??? I’ll let the reader of this be the judge of that. Still have 430 miles until oil change is due. Don’t take your hard earned investment here. I’ve had better service at the smaller oil changing places. With a substantial amount of savings in top of that. Just because you’re taking your vehicle to a dealership and pay top dollar for an oil change. Doesn’t mean you’re getting top service. Wish I could give no stars!
