Got a haircut by Pinky about 7 months ago and she was great - which is why I was excited to see that she had a Groupon this time with highlights which I purchased. Upon calling her and letting her know I was looking forward to her services again because I really liked how she cut my hair last time, she felt the need to inform me that she "should not be accepting the Groupon" because I have already used one.. IN MARCH..(it's now almost October) ..when the fine print clearly states that 6 months is the required time limit in between Groupon purchases. Then she continues to say that it's ok, she'll do it this one time, but um..can you make anyone feel any more uncomfortable? I actually thought I was complimenting her services. Why do people offer a Groupon if they don't want your business? I have told other people to go to her as well, which is why I just have a bad taste in my mouth now. Ugh. Just don't have Groupon then

Pinky has done a really great job on my hair for years now. My hair is very fine and thin, yet with great skill Pinky makes the most of it. She is also a really nice person and visiting her is a great relaxing experience.

I got a partial highlight and cut from Pinky and I love it! The color is just what I was looking for. She is very professional and has a ton of experience. I've already booked another appointment.

Shear Ambition is the best salon in the area!! I have been going to Ashley and Bre for about 5 years and have loved every cut, color and updo I have had. Ashley is amazing at bayalage styles!! It is so natural and beautiful. I trust her to do anything. In the summer and spring she gives me a blonde bayalage and in the fall and winter she does a brown/red bayalage. Both styles are gorgeous and I wouldn't risk getting that dramatic of a change without Ashley's expertise!! She is Literally an artist and paints on the color freehand!!! Not only is Ashley amazing at coloring and cutting but her and Bre do weddings for hair and makeup!! Ashley uses airbrush for an all natural glow and does beautiful eyeshadow work! I am sure happy to call her my stylist and makeup artist! I know 100% Shear Ambition will be doing my bridal parties hair and makeup when I get married!! I highly recommend this salon!! The price is perfect and the service is top notch!!

I read their reviews on FB and thought I would reach out to Shear Ambitions on Monday to see if they could create the look and color I was going for. Ashley responded to my message in a prompt manner and I sent her 4 pictures as an example of the style and color I wanted to get done on my hair (it was blonde pieces) I asked her if it would require highlights or balayage and she told me the look I wanted could be created through balayage. We made an appointment for Wednesday and I drove 35 minutes out to her salon. When I got there I chose 1 of the 4 pictures I previously sent her and showed her exactly what I wanted to avoid any confusion. 2 hours later my hair barely changed with the exception of brown strands in my hair (not honey, not caramel, not any variation of blonde whatsoever). 2 hours and $90 later ($75 for the service and a $15 tip) my hair did not look anything like what I wanted that she assured me she could create. With a vacation in a month I will have to pay someone else to fix my hair and cause more stress on my hair. I do not recommend them at all. I learned my lesson....it's better to spend the extra money on a quality hairstylist because ultimately it will cost more in the end to fix the mistake.
