I had a great experience a few weeks ago when I bought a pair of Brooks shoes. Mark is knowledgeable about fit and cares about his customer's satisfaction! The shoes are comfortable and I'm considering buying a second pair. I will return to "shop local" as the customer service received here is so much more satisfying than shopping online.

I had a great experience here! I was looking for a new pair of running shoes and stopped in here to take a look at a few options. The woman working was super friendly, assessed my gait and listened to any concerns I've been having with my feet. She ended up choosing the perfect pair for me to try as the first option- but also allowed me to try on others to make sure they were the one. Additionally, the shoes were on sale too- which was a nice bonus!! I definitely recommend checking this place out if you want to support a local business that truly cares about helping their customers

Amazing service! Mark greeted me and acknowledged me as soon as he saw me walk in. He is very knowledgeable and friendly! He knew exactly which shoes would be perfect for my feet by simply just looking at them and looking at the way I walk. Thank you Mark for all your help! I’ll be coming back for any future purchases.

Used them to replace the last pair of shoes I bought here and they're as great as ever, truly good people.Original review:Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful associate was able to immediately identify a running shoe that fit me like a glove. As an amateur runner, improvements to my stride were immediately noticeable, 100% worth the visit.I was particularly impressed with their analysis of how different shoes fit me. After trying out a shoe I'd open my mouth to mention how I felt about it, and they'd already know exactly what I was going to say just by watching me run in it. In five minutes they knew my feet better than I ever have.

It's so clear why this place has the reviews it does. We came in from the city to avoid busy Lincoln Park et al on a Saturday, and had the best experience! I bought the pair of running shoes the gentleman picked out for me after hearing my needs, and am happy to say I ran a personal best 10k in them this AM feeling comfy, light, and supported. I'll definitely be back for the authentically kind customer service we got at this shop!

THE best shoe buying experience I've ever had! Pom was friendly, knowledgeable and patient as she worked with me to find the best pair of shoes to fit me and my custom orthotics. She showed me a different way to lace them to make my feet more comfortable. From now on, I won't be shopping for shoes anywhere else.

Guys ... listen. I just started trying to do a streak for the month of May after not running for three years because of surgeries and other health issues. With 25+ extra pounds and three more trips around the sun, my (so far) five days of running have left me with a super icky knee pain, so I was going to just go to Walgreen's for some kind of knee brace. Having received an email recently from Mark and Pom, I decided instead to go to Runner's High 'n Tri to get some guidance on which type to use. Even though it's been ages since I've been into the store and seen Mark and Pom, they actually remembered me from the fun runs they used to hold! Not only that, but basically at the exact same time, they both saw the issue that is causing my knee pain. It took them like one minute. (It's my shoes, btw.) Anyway, I just want to say that this is the kind of service and care you get from shopping local with Mark and Pom. I'm so glad I went in, got my *actual* issue diagnosed, and are ready to resume my streak! Thanks so much, Mark and Pom!

This is a great place to get walking, running shoes. My podiatrist recommended them!I now have 2 pairs of perfectly fit running shoes to help me walk properly. Now my husband has 1 pair and soon another.Friendly & professional. Highly recommend Runners High

Pom is amazing and so helpful! I had a total knee replacement 5 weeks ago and stopped in on my orthopedic surgeon's recommendation. I have flat feet and wanted to make sure I had the right shoes for rehab. I had a brand new pair of Brooks Glycerine shoes that I bought last year and she watched my gait and decided that all I needed was a good pair of inserts. They made a huge difference in my ability to walk steadily and will most certainly accelerate my recovery!We were very happy and impressed with her knowledge and friendliness.Keep up the great work! Highly recommend this place!

Seriously the best place to buy shoes. The owners and staff are fantastic and so helpful. I have come into this store with multiple issues over the years; shoes for training, Achilles tendinitis, sore knees, and every time they have the right answer. Look no further, the best place for shoes.

Best, most pleasant shoe buying experience of my life. Literally walked in, sat down, and Mark brought my new running shoes to me on a silver platter. I’m from California and when it’s time to replace my shoes I’ll be back. :)
