“This is, quite simply, the best USPS location ever. In this era, so many USPS locations, particularly in denser parts of major cities, range from incompetent to straight up illegal levels of service. My home locations in Ravenswood and Audobon (Manhattan) were both this way. The two main front desk guys here, however, have worked there forever and are both pleasant, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Even the 3-4 other people who sometimes man the front are excellent. have never had a bad experience with the Itasca Post Office. These guys should get raises :)”

She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. “Went to the post office on my lunch break to ship some packages for Christmas. Line was out the lobby door into the foyer, but the two workers kept the line moving and were so helpful. They greeted every customer cheerfully and wished them happy holidays at the end of every transaction. I was out in 15 min. Great job for a stressful time of year!”

My wait time was okay, the only thing that made me upset is a customer who was behind me who took my place and went to the counter pretending she didn’t see me, she probably felt entitled because she is a regular customer there.”

“Great location, if one wants to mail directly instead of via local mailboxes. Usually not crowded, patient and helpful staff; sometimes busy at holidays or weekends but reliable. Nice variety of stamps available plus reliable service. Got solid advice from helpful staff recently on mail security and potential check fraud and unusual mail delays. Ideal place at slow times to get answers and informed answers at on USPS certified mail and tracking packages or letters.Front and side entrance are OK. Now-gone parking in back was a huge plus, though.”

Very uppity, snobbish, entitlement talking down to you type of customers. 4 stars because the service is slow, due to under staffing not because of the employees.”

We can always tell when she doesn't come in there's a difference between her and other mail carriers. Shes the one that reminds us if we've got outgoing mail which is always helpful.”

“I've had a couple issues with mail getting delivered but anytime I called and spoke with a postmaster everything was handled in a timely manner with much respect and solid customer service. Most recently Tony took care of a situation over a few packages that weren't delivered but he took care of it with A+++ service. Thank you tony!”

“I walked in looking for a box that is used to ship items free and couldn’t find it, so then I started looking at larger boxes that cost. Diane told me not to use that box because it would be too expensive. She then had me try two less expensive packages that didn’t work and then found a box that would be free. She then taped the box around the oversized item even when I told her she could take care of another person. Thankyou for not giving up on me.”
