Metropolis is a great location and a beautiful venue for any occasion. They have multiple room sizes for all occasions so whether your event is an intimate gathering of a few friends or big celebration for hundreds of relatives, they have something that will fit your needs. The entire staff is top notch. I've had the pleasure to work closely with the special event producer, Anita, and she is absolutely fantastic! Her entire team goes above and beyond to make each event worry-free. As one of Metropolis' vendors, I have heard nothing but positive feedback from my clients. Metropolis is truly a fantastic experience and should be your go-to venue to create lasting memories for any special occasion.

We had an engagement party at the Metropolis that was a beautiful evening. The entire event went smoothly, the food was fantastic, the wait staff was very attentive, and the bartender was top notch. Having access to the veranda topped off a great evening. Anita, the Event Producer, was easy to work with before and during the event, and Tom Manetti, owner of the Venue, was very accommodating with our requests.

When my husband recently passed, it was clear that a funeral wasn't his "thing", and we opted for a Celebration of Life instead. This is not an easy event to organize, you want to hit just the right notes of sorrow, and yet joy. The decor has to be subdued but not depressing, the ambience respectful but also casual, warm, and welcoming. I do not know how to thank Anita, the Special Events coordinator at the Metropolis Ballroom, enough. She helped us get everything EXACTLY RIGHT, and did it all with a gentle kindness that was exactly what I needed at that most difficult time. The event was amazing, the venue could not have been more perfect, and I happily give Anita and the Metropolis Ballroom a full five stars. May all your events be for joyous occasions!

We had an event at Metropolis Ballroom last week, and I wanted to leave a review just to thank them for their dedication to getting every detail right. We had quite a few last-minute revisions to our event, and the entire staff, with special thanks to Rachel and Mauricio, managed to pull it all together incredibly. Couldn't recommend a venue with a better team, and since the conclusion of the event we've had so many guests mention how much they loved the space and the food.

We had are wedding at the Metropolis this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience! Anita and Andrea made sure the day went perfectly. The food was amazing, every part of the package was customizable and the planning experience went very smooth. Anita was very accommodating and so pleasant to work with! The wait staff was also amazing and kept the dinner service moving. We want to thank everyone at the Metropolis for making our wedding perfect and helping our vision come to life!

Several weeks ago, we held a Celebration of Life reception at Metropolis Ballroom in downtown Arlington Heights after the death of my wife. The staff was gracious and accommodating. The food was excellent. One of the stations was a Mac & Cheese bar which was outstanding. The bartenders and servers all were friendly ad helpful. When more people turned up than we had planned the kitchen made sure there was plenty for all. I can't speak highly enough of the Metropolis Ballroom as an event location.

Metropolis Ballroom hosted our wedding reception earlier this month and it was beautiful! The planning process went smoothly from the beginning. Anita was extremely accommodating and attentive throughout: we had several guests with dietary allergies and within a few weeks of the event, Anita worked with me to select plated dinners instead of the buffet that was offered to the other guests. I have heard from several guests since the wedding that the dinner was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for us and I felt that the event was in excellent hands and I could enjoy the evening without any worry. Thank you!

Recently went to a wedding at this venue! Had an absolute blast. The service was wonderful and so was the food! On top of that, the atmosphere was great too! I’ll be recommending this place to my friends for big events.

We absolutely loved hosting the Sip and See to introduce our first grandson to friends and relatives at the Metropolis! Anita worked hard to ensure that all guests had a fabulous time. The food was excellent and bartenders were extremely kind and engaging with guests! Friends and family members shared that they had a wonderful time!

The whole Fox + Ivory team loves working at Metropolis Ballroom! Right in the heart of Downtown Arlington Heights, Metropolis Ballroom has it all. From a spacious, beautiful bridal suite to beautiful vaulted ceilings. There is never a shortage of locations nearby for portraits and in case of bad weather there are few venues as wonderful for indoor portraits. If you are considering a suburbs venue we can't recommend Metropolis Ballroom highly enough!

We absolutely loved the Metropolis! Working with Anita was wonderful. She was attentive, organized, and truly cared about all of the little details. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely caring and nice.I was able to enjoy my day without any worry. Anita, Diego and the entire staff really took care of everything and made our day that much more special.10/10 would recommend having your wedding or next event here!!
