Beware of using the air pump at this MARATHON station. I recently used a debit card to pay for the air pump, which shows up on a statement as CSC service work. The following day there were 3 fraudulent charges on my account. I strongly suspect there is a skimmer device on the pump POS. BTW something similar happened three weeks prior, after I bought gas at a MARATHON station in Palatine. My bank has told me gas stations are a very common place for card skimmers to be used.

If ZERO stars was possible, that is what I would have chosen. Beware of using the air pump at this Marathon station. I recently used their "CSC service-work" pump, paying with a bank debit card. The following day 3 fraudulent charges appeared on my statement. I strongly suspect there is a skimmer on the point of sale device. Additionally, on a previous date I used the same air pump, and it dispensed less air than what I keyed in and paid for. I will never again buy gas or air at this Marathon station.

Just got overcharged for gas! Beware and make sure to check that you are indeed being charged for the grade selected!! Rude staff, as a bonus! First time AND very much last time i stopped by here!

They have no problem taking your money for the air pump that doesn’t work. The guy explained that you need to make the psi higher for it to make sure you get enough air in your tires. When I asked if I can have the $2, so I can add more air, since it doesn’t work properly, he said it wasn’t his problem and I’d have to call the company that makes the pump. Put a sign up or have a tech from the company that makes it, come and fix it.

They made the pumps out of cardboard and sticky tack. Good luck getting gas outta those.

Pay at the pump doesn't work and they force you to come inside. I chose not to get gas because they insisted on knowing exactly how many gallons I wanted which I didn't know.

Yeah store clerk didnt know that New Mexico is a state in the U.S. so he denied me a pack of cigs. When I tried to show him a map he just kept pointing at a sign that stated all forms of IDs which clearly I had. Worst gas station EVER. Dont come here

This station places a $75 fee on your credit card to later be corrected to the exact amount rather than the typical $1 initial charge! Last time I'll use this station!!!

Very rude service staff. literally just scold and said nothing when i came in to get quarters for air and the when my boyfriend tried to buy snacks he was rude and refused to honor the sale signs he had in the store.

Pumps don't work half the time and guy behind desk couldn't possibly be less helpful. Never again.
