Acrylic nails need to go somewhere else to have them redone. Wasted 75 dollars in them they look crooked and thick.

This was my second time at the salon. The workers don't talk much to you , but when they talk to each other, it's in their language. The owner was rushing my tech name, T to finish up with me. The tech did an excellent job, she made me feel very comfortable, the owner not so. I tried this place twice, I'm done.

If you are looking for efficient, skillful staff , then you're at the right place. I have been going here for years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I love the new spa pedicure. Jane did a supberb excellent job. Sunny is an expert with the no chip manicure. Love the staff!!!!!!!!

I've been coming here for years now, and it is very convenient because of its proximity to the Arlington heights train station. A 2 minute walk and you're there! The basic manicure is $14, pedi, $25, mani & pedi $36 (F-S) or $33(M-Th) I've found the time you go and the person you get can really make a difference with your nail job. I wouldn't recommend the absolute last part of the day, as it feels more rushed and less focused. The venue is clean, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and the technicians don't chat amongst each other. I enjoy the movies they play on the TV, and there is always the most recent OPI nail polish available which I always appreciate. With that being said, the nails themselves are just okay. I've had my basic manicure last 1.5 weeks sometimes, and other times on occasion it chipped in a few days. Which any nail job, I suggested not showering in hot water the first day after getting your nails done (an old wives tail I follow). Update: I made an appointment for for a mani/pedi and I was not seen for 30 minutes. When I asked if I should leave, I was told to continue waiting. My appointment was scheduled far in advance. I understand times get busy, but I would have appreciated an apology or update before having to ask...

I really wanted to like this place. It's conveniently located, it is clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They have soft spa like music playing and you can get a chair massage while getting a pedicure. The downside is the staff. I was getting a manicure and a pedicure at the same time. I had one woman working on my hands while the other worked on my feet. During this time, both women completely ignored me while speaking to each other in their native language. I know they were able to speak English as I had heard them speaking in English prior to my appointment. One of the women laughed at something the other woman said as they both looked at my feet. I felt as if they were talking about me. Whether or not this is true, I do not know, but it made me uncomfortable enough not want to return to this establishment.

I have been coming to Hera Nails for years and it's my favorite place...for many reasons! I really like how flexible they are...if you arrive a few minutes early, they can often take you and on the other hand, if you happen to arrive a few minutes late, no one is upset! I love their shop as it is very spacious and has a calming environment. I like that I can watch cooking shows on the TV monitor. I like that I can sit quietly and don't have to make chit chat with anyone. They always do a great job! Most of the girls are pretty sweet and Sunny is always very kind and connected/available for services, i.e. if you want something special and the girl does not have strong english skills, she will make it happen! You can even bring wine in to drink, if you'd like!
