I have spent many days trying to retrieve my online banking. I've been locked out and no way to do this online.Called customer service, first person could barely speak English. This is the only language I know. I couldn't verify my info because I couldn't understand what this person was trying to say. I repeatedly asked her to repeat or spell what she was asking, or speak to another rep.I wasn't able to understand what she was saying, except now I have to visit a branch to verify my identity.Called back, got another person with poor English skills. Can't help me, I have to go in person to a branch location to verify identity.I will be closing my accounts after 30 years. Too bad they refused to help verifying on line or e-mail.I doubt I'm the only one with this problem since they merged with another bank March 1st.

Worst bank ever. Customer service is always terrible most branches have people working who are questionable to say the least. And the CS phone department always seems to have a "I hate my life" attitude. Gina- please find new employment. Speaking with people isn't it perhaps a cubicle pushing paper? I highly recommend you look into other alternatives even PNC is better...

A few weeks ago I got an email saying there were 4 online attempts to get into my account. I called the general number and asked what happened and what should I do. I was told since they didn't get in don't worry about it. I asked if they would make a note or something on my account. Even though they said don't worry about it I changed my user name and password. You would think they would have suggested that. Now, about 3 weeks later someone accessed my account and made 3 separate $200 withdrawals for betting on MGM online bets!!! I found out when I tried to make a small purchase and didn't have enough money. I called them and reported it. Firstly I never received a notification that these odd withdrawals were made..they were back to back to back. No notification!!! Then I said well there's a note from a couple of weeks ago. They did not have a record of that. No record that there were attempts on my account nor a note I specifically requested be put there. DO NOT PUT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS POORLY RUN BANK. Go elsewhere ... right now!!!!

I think this bank is terrible. I tried to take care of some business after my father died, and to even get to the right person was a joke. I was transfered 5 times before I got the department I needed. I was spoke to so badly through some of the people that transfered me and when I finally reached the department I needed to speak with the woman was so rude I could hardly control myself, so I hung up and did not get to finish my business. I found out later that she gave me incorrect infomation, and now I have to go through this all over again. If I can't get the correct help this time, well you can only guess at the words I'm thinking. Don't do business with this bank unless you want to be treated like dirt. Peggy G

Do not do business with this bank!! They do not take security seriously. Someone opened an account in my name. They didnt take the necessary steps to make sure the person was actually me. Since I noticed this and called they have been completely unhelpful. They even tried to get me to send even more personal information. They do not care about you or your money.

Someone opened a checking account I my name, they did not require a photo ID. I have called several times and they keep telling me they closed the account and it is still open. Obviously they do not take identity theft seriously. So frustrated , I live on the west coast, and there are no branches out here so my only choice is to deal with them over the phone, but no one takes it seriously. Meanwhile whoever opened this account with my name still has an account in my name.

Tellers are super rude- I have been toChase and BOA and I have exchanged cash for under $100 without being a customer. Guess what?( I just moved into the area and was considering switching banks since it was down the block.) That is why I became a customer at the other banks not because they were rude and barely would exhange $20. I was not even getting change for myself was for a customer of BMO. Even so, you should train your employees to treat everyone the same not just regulars. Was not greeted and was given bad customer service like I’m inconveniencing teller. When I walked away she greeted next man and was polite. This is not how you bring in future customers, which I won’t be. I am even having my bf close account and go to Chase. Terrible first experience in here.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Even worse than Bank of America. I will NEVER do business with this bank again! They are so sweet and friendly when you are opening a new account, but after that they treat you like you don't exist. Beware, think twice and listen to my advice. I guess it's true that "misery loves company" because I see a LOT of negative posts here but I would not wish these guys on anybody! I got their attention quickly when I posted a negative review on Facebook but then they soon dropped out of communication again. Don't trust them!

Raamie & Chris were excellent in refering someone who could help with my credit and explaining how certain accounts work & what benefits I receive. I highly recommend BMO Harris, especially this branch! 10% off all apparel & jerseys at the United Center as well!! ?

Very poor customer service and excessive fees. They wanted to charge my wife $10 to cash check. Recently married, her name is not yet on the account but name and address on her DL match account. They also wanted to record her debit card and DL information in their system, which I believe is illegal, Personal Identifying Information cannot be collect and stored with out disclosure. Also, it is impossible to reach anyone at the branch on the phone due to the set up of their Voice Response Unit. Many banks to choose from, do not choose BMO Harris.

BEWARE THE BANK IS HAVING THEIR CUSTOMERS VEHICLES TOWED from the facilities parking lot if their customers go to the Post Office even if they have parked and done business with the Bank. If you park in the BMO Parking lot to do your banking business but you walk to the Post Office 1st yYOU WILL GET TOWED and it will cost you $198 to get your car back. Several Senior Citizens also had their vehicles towed for this very same reason.

BEWARE THEY TOW THEIR CUSTOMERS CARS !! They had my daughters car towed when she parked in the BMO Harris lot because she went to the Post office to mail a letter and then went to the bank to do her banking transations. The manager said it was her fault because she went to the Post Office before she went to the Bank. They even had several Senior Citizens cars towed as well. This is how they treat their customers? Theyhave lost my business as well.
