Very sad to say that this place is not what it used to be. My entire family used to bring the cars here. We trusted everyone with their recommendations and with the quality of the work. Not so much anymore. There were so many mistakes made over the last few appointments, and there were so many times when the quality of the work was questionable forcing us to come back for a redo, that I no longer have any trust in the work done here.

The most important thing is that in addition to doing a great job on my cars, I trust them. When they say I need new brakes, I need new brakes, etc... If I'm better off bringing my car to a dealer (because of warranty support), they tell me that. Also great people to work with. I've sent several people here, and they've all been happy.

I brought my car for belt change as the belt broke and I lost steering power. When they looked at it, they said the tensioner needed to change and the other belt too. I said fine, later they call me about an issue with the axe, which they should have checked two weeks before as I asked them to check the front wheels and fix a loose arm that the tire shop told me to check. It ended up be 1800 for all. I asked to show me what they changed and what was wrong with it, they told me we cannot show you, it should be a new shinny thing under your car. I think if there was something really wrong with the axe they should have seen it two weeks before when I asked them to take a look at it. I think they up sale extra work for any car they work on.

I've had two Porsches over the years and have taken both exclusively to Arlington Performance Center for service. They've always been accommodating with a loaner car, which I need since I live downtown Chicago. Their service has been top notch, and I've found them to be very reasonable with their pricing. They've also been able to fix any issues I've had in less than 2 days, which is impressive when you consider procuring parts. I can say first hand they are very familiar with the 911 and Cayenne models, and I'd have no reservations recommending them for other European manufacturers. Knowing how expensive Porsches can be to maintain and operate, I probably wouldn't own one if I didn't have a place that I could trust. It's why I'll travel over 30 miles for their services.
