Nice coin shop in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights on NW highway. The owner Frank and the staff were very friendly and very helpful with all of the questions I had. Absolutely no pressure to buy or an attempt to upsell. I asked if they had some coins that was not in display, and without hesitation, they went to the back to get them for me. I'll be back!

Dishonest company!! Do not sell your bullion here. The owner refused to pay me spot price for my silver and then tried to slick-talk his way through it. I've been buying/selling bullion for years and have never had an experience this bad.Something tells me that all the 5 star reviews are either fake or from people who don't have a clue about how the market works...

Being new to purchasing precious metals I was ripe for the taking and that is what happened in other coin shops where I was taken advantage of. Not at Arlington Coin. They are fair, candid and knowledgeable. Strongly recommended for the novice and seasoned veteran in this market.

Last week I stopped in here to sell some gold pieces. The first thing I noticed when I stepped inside was a musty smell and how unorganized the shop looked. I was greeted by an older curmudgeon of a sales clerk that acted like he was doing me a favor by talking to me.I inquired about selling the gold pieces and was given a price. My gold pieces were not weighted. I asked why the pieces weren't weighted; I was told by the clerk had been doing the for 30 some years and didn't need to weigh them. The price I was offered was quite a bit lower than what I had been offered by another business. I thanked him, gathered my gold pieces and sold them elsewhere.I went here based on previous reviews. Guess you get treated differently when your buying as opposed to selling. I would definitely not waste your time going here.
