Dear Skipper Buds Management,I am writing to express my extreme frustration and dissatisfaction with the lack of progress regarding the title for the boat and trailer I purchased from your company in June of 2020. It has been nearly four years since the transaction, and I have yet to receive the necessary documentation.Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter by calling your office and speaking with multiple representatives, I have been met with nothing but empty promises and unfulfilled commitments. Not once have I received a return phone call regarding this issue, further exacerbating my frustration and anger.Let me be absolutely clear: I am beyond livid about the situation. It is completely unacceptable and downright negligent on your part to withhold such essential documentation for this extended period. As a paying customer, I expect to receive the title for my boat and trailer in a timely manner, which has regrettably not been the case.I demand immediate action to rectify this matter. I require the title for my boat and trailer without any further delay. Any excuses or delays will not be tolerated. I have already been patient for far too long, and I refuse to accept any further delays or excuses.Please expedite the process of obtaining the title for my boat and trailer and provide me with a concrete timeline for its delivery. Failure to do so will leave me with no choice but to explore legal options to enforce my rights as a consumer.I expect a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

Do not buy a boat from here! Terrible communication from the start. I bought a boat 2 years ago and they lost my titles for the boat and trailer so they never got sent to my lender. Now I’ve been trying to sell the boat for 4 months and I have not made any ground with them. They had to apply for duplicate titles and gave me no information regarding a time frame as to when they will get them. I wish I could give them -5 stars.

I would not trust this company. I bought a boat 3 years ago and they never sent the state the taxes that I paid them. and now I am being sent to collections. After the first phone call, they did confirm that it would be taken care of. Clearly it wasn’t, and now i don’t get any return phone calls with collection letters from the state.

My family and I have rented from skipper buds twice. The first time was a great experience with a really nice boat and friendly staff. The second time we had an older boat that had some issues with the switchboard (but it was still drivable) so we were a little disappointed. Staff was still great! When we expressed our disappointment to the staff- Natalie and Jennifer really made it right and took good care of us. Jennifer went above and beyond. Great customer service.

Parts department... No call backs or follow up of any kind. Called twice, no follow up then went in and spoke to the parts guy in person, showed him what I needed. He took my info and told me he " would be in touch after researching"...nothing. I called and left him a message a few days later.... nothing. Gets old dealing with businesses that don't follow up or do what they say they will do. Don't have high expectations going here.... at least for parts.

The most horrible experience. Set up an appointment just to find out the boat was sold without a sales man letting me know! No decency in caring fir the customer! They are just after you money! Be aware!

I bought a used sea ray 175 BR for 7,000.00 . I tried many times to have someone call me back due to a concern with the registration . They had it listed with the wrong gross weight which cost me 120.00 more than neccasary, I had to go to the DMV and rectify it myself. It seems if you aren't spending 50K they ignore you.

I recently purchased a used boat from SkipperBuds, communication was ok at first. I was usually the one that had to follow-up to my questions and get commitments. Service after the sale however was absolutely terrible. Extremely difficult to get a hold of, multiple e-mails, calls, texts left unanswered. They made a mistake with a refund and consistently told me for a month that they had issued it. A month later after several calls, e-mails and texts they finally, unapologetically, admit to an error on their side. This was right after I contested the charge with my credit card company and received a refund. Obviously they never looked into the issue on all the other occasions where i told them I didn't receive the refund. Good luck to whomever chooses to do business with them. I know I wont be returning.
