UPDATE: After Kunes commented on my review to reach out with contact info, I did right away. Still no word from them. This dealer is a joke. I'll stay away from all of their locations when looking for a car and honest business dealings in the future. Don't waste your time or money with them.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: We were interested in a used car at Kunes. Saw it online first and called them and was told it was there. Went on site in person and we were told it was in the shop and would be there the next day. Went back the next day and it was still not there. Worked with another sales rep that day who promised to honor the online price that we saw when we showed it to him. He called us to come back in when it arrived from the shop. We finally saw the car and discovered it had the check engine light on. We were told that the light wasn't on earlier, but after reviewing our initial look at it online, in the online pictures the engine light was on. He said we'd have an answer about the light the next day. He also then said he wouldn't honor the online price since it was worked on at the body shop and they had put extra money into it with fixing the cracked headlight. He tried to convince us that we should get a new car instead. (Understandable to suggest it, but we still were interested in the used car.) We said we'd think about it. The next day we got no answers about the engine light. When we asked, the sales guy started giving text excuses about delays, promises of answers from their mechanics, until finally just not answering, etc. I then called and asked to talk to one of the sales leads to see if he could help to just let us know about the engine light so we could decide to move forward on the car there or move on to another option. He apologized, promised he'd help, and promised an email that day about the car and the engine light. We received nothing. And thankfully nothing from them since. We would not trust spending any money there after that anyway. They had signs all over the dealership about how they're award winning, top sales, etc. We had no honesty and no help when going there. It was frustrating from the start. I hope others have better experiences. I'd agree that one incident was just maybe a misunderstanding, but they gave us the run around and made us do several wasted trips to the lot since day 1 of dealing with them.

I just purchased a 2024 Ford Expedition Timberline from Kunes Ford of Antioch. I would definitely buy from this team again. Everyone was very friendly to help assist the customer. The buying process was pretty quick, and I think being pre-qualified via Ford Credit did help speed up the process.
Our salesperson, Rocco Bowser, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the product and ensured it was a smooth process to purchase. Again, I would recommend him as a Salesperson. I remember he said, “I hope to have made a friend” after our encounter. I hope he did. He is also interested in helping people out. I admire that positive attitude which felt like it ran throughout the dealership.

This is a must read review. I spent the largest part of my adult life in the retail auto industry 30 + years. My current business puts me on the other side of the sales desk. There are no perfect dealerships, especially on the used side. There are an enormous amount of components to both setting up and selling a used vehicle. I needed a work vehicle for my current business. Kunes had something that seemed like it would work. The vehicle fit our needs but had a couple small issues that needed to be dealt with. Jason the sales manager could not have been more helpful. From service to sales and finance everyone was accommodating and more than willing to pitch in and help make the deal happen. Perfect experience No, but this is the real world. If you want perfection don't buy a car or truck, if you have realistic expectations then this would be as close to perfect as you can get. Good solid people who genuinely seem to care about the outcome. Visit Kunes Ford with confidence you will be pleased and well taken care of.

I fully recommend Kunes Ford in Antioch, IL. From first contact to driving off, it was a great experience . Russel did an amazing job and definitely took care of us. We had to do everything via email as we have a business to run and where limited with time. When we had to go in and sign paperwork, we where there for about an hour in and out. Russel also went over all the details on truck and future maintenance. Thank you Russel for a great experience . Will be contacting you for future purchases.

Went in to buy a Ram 1500, unfortunately it was unavailable and They matched me an identical vehicle with lower mileage and different color. Rocco Bowser went above and beyond getting the deal together, even power washed the bed, he’s an outstanding salesman, I’m so relieved I walked onto him for this deal. After my first attempt at a different dealership with a super pushy sales guy I’m so glad Rocco helped me calmly step by step through this process. Thanks for all your help finding and purchasing a great truck, he even dropped the car off at my home.

Great experience they did what they said they would do and actually help get us out of our current ride into a Brand New Plug In Hybrid. Just a Great experience all around and Rocco Bowser was a joy to work with, a true car enthusiast and will work hard for you so you get what you need and will explain all the features to your full satisfaction and understanding.
