“I said hi and got no response from a fellow customer. The counter person seemed business like but not welcoming. The building is unique and spacious. I did not see electrical outets readily available to charge phones or run laptops. It seem like a chic place to take your high school sweet heart, write about the good old days of steam boats or read a good novel. Not like your Starbuck for computers,tablet,iphones.... The spacious space is well lit and great for a couple of good friends to meet or people who know each other. Food came quick, but had to go to counter for butter and the such. Food was tasty and the rest of our interactions with the person who delivered the food and the young lady who handed me butter were redeemingly friendlier. There area for kids to play is close to the door well away from the majority of seating option.”

“My husband and I eloped and had our ceremony here three years ago this September. They offer a wonderful package for a small ceremony which included a stay at the bed and breakfast, a spot for the ceremony, an officiant, sparking cider or champagne, and a lovely little cake from a local bakery. We chose to have our ceremony outdoors on their beautiful grounds. It was a perfect day and although I was 5 months pregnant and feeling far from beautiful, the ceremony was gorgeous (and my hubby, oh, so handsome). Would recommend for a wedding big or small, or just as a romantic getaway.”

“This may have been our “hidden gem” venue of 2023. WOW is all we can say. The outdoor space is beautiful and the indoor space is classy and versatile. The owners were flexible and easy to work with as fellow vendors. As a local balloon company, we had the opportunity to help a bride/groom with wedding decor/photo backdrop and we absolutely loved how it turned out complimented by the already stunning venue! Absolutely recommend this spot for brides and grooms and any event!!”

“Beautiful place if you're into the "distressed" look (not my thing, but I can appreciate the work they put into it). Staff was absolutely awesome and they kept things rolling seamlessly. Acoustics are great, you are able to hear well at all points without it being LOUD. There is a great deal of room upstairs for the bridal party, and the same with the room for the grooms party to get ready, with a separate room for them to hang out once they're finished. The only con I saw was the floor being a bit wonky in a few places (not in the natural walkways, thank goodness). It can catch you a bit off guard when you are skirting the dance floor when in heels. Not a huge issue, but it's something to scope out before the event so you can warn your unsteadier elderly guests away from those few areas to avoid mishaps. This is in to way a criticism of the venue, it's in a much older building and that just sort of the way things are in older places. :)”

“We had my daughters 9th birthday here, and we were an absolute mess. We had no idea how many of our huge party (26 people) wanted to bowl and what packages worked best for us. Employees were very helpful and patient with us even though we were a very lively bunch, lol. We had a wonderful time. Definitely will book another party here.”

Kirsten did an amazing job coordinating the details and his staff worked tirelessly making sure we had everything we needed. The facility is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well managed. This venue is truly a hidden gem!”
