We had a fantastic evening watching fireworks. The owner, Mike, went out of his way to make sure we were doing OK with larger than we expected crowd on the patio. It was definitely a great experience and would consider doing it again.
Rooms: Very comfortable and functional. The view was spectacular. The mattress was a little hard for our taste but that is certainly not an issue to complain about.

We just stayed in the Clark suite and the space has everything you need and more, Everything in the unit is top shelf. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom fixtures are upscale and you can't beat the view,The Cracker Factory is our "Go To" place whenever we come to the Alton area.

I stayed in the Piasa Suite for three nights in mid-September. This is a marvelous place to stay. The suite is very comfortable and well thought-out. Excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout. And it was impeccably clean! From the quality of the kitchenware to the furnishings and storage space, it is clear that Mike, the owner, put his full creative efforts into making guests comfortable. And I loved the deck and river view!I had a chance to look in at the Eagle’s Nest penthouse on the top floor: It would be an excellent stay for a larger group, and would suit perfectly for a reception or other social gathering.Upfront: I learned that Mike and I share our alma mater, the U.S. Naval Academy, as well as having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

We were in town for the Haunted America conference and the Clark Suite was simply perfect for our team of four. It is a historic building, and it is within walking distance of many dining options and shopping. Thank you, Mike, and Julie, for hosting us and I hope to be back next year!

We had a beautiful, fun, 90th birthday celebration for Bonnie at the Cracker Factory. The Cracker Factory was absolutely perfect in every way!! The best owner and staff ever!! Stunning accommodations in a perfect location! The perfect size for our family event. Everything about this place goes above and beyond expectations!! We had the event in the Penthouse suite but also used a couple of the other suites for out of town family members. Everything was outstanding! We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed the Cracker Factory, everything was PERFECT!! If I could rate it a 20, I would!!

Simply stunning. The rooms are spacious, accommodating, comfortable, and have incredible views. There was original hardwood in our room, and it was beautiful! I also heard a yoga studio is slated to be constructed on the downstairs level. That would be so well-favored! The host was also very kind and professional. 10/10 - highly recommend!

A beautiful BNB. Our entire family was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful accommodations and views. Downtown walking distance to Old Bakery Brewery, antique shops, small businesses, fishing, and casino. A perfect location, and beautiful rooms. I highly recommend staying there.

This was an impromptu stop for us on our motorcycle trip. The apartment was spotless, spacious, nicely and tastefully furnished, with lots of new amenities, and within walking distance from the downtown area that offered a good selection of eateries.The spacious furnished patio overlooking the Mississippi River provided the needed relaxation for the body and mind after a day of riding.Mike was kind enough to find overnight accommodation for our bikes and to mail a memory card we had left behind.Mike is a class act focused on 100% customer satisfaction.If we are back in the area we will definitely stay with Mike again.

The Penthouse was a beautiful loft with an amazing scenery of the Mississippi River. I love it❤ plus a huge balcony with plenty of room for a gathering. Barbecue grill, kitchen with EVERYTHING, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a jacuzzi. I PROMISE YOU, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I haven't stayed here yet, but am SO looking forward to visiting. I want to take an overnight trip with my puppy. I emailed them about pet rules and they responded immediately! Love that level of customer service. I cannot wait to stay at Alton Cracker Factory.

I was hosting a baby shower for some dear friends, but needed a bit more space to accommodate everyone. I reached out to The Cracker Factory and Mike promptly responded answering all my questions. I chose to stay two nights to (treat myself) have plenty of time for set-up and clean up. The Eagle's Nest was gorgeous and perfect for the shower. Even on a gloomy November weekend, the view of the riverfront is incredible. Everyone at the shower was very impressed with the space and I heard many people chatting about booking for a friends' weekend, NYE, 4th of July, etc. There is a bit of walking up stairs as they don't have an elevator but it's really not bad and I hauled *a lot* of stuff upstairs and downstairs. Can't wait to stay again - just for fun!
