I visit this dollar tree location at least once a week and I just want to say how amazing SAM (MANAGER) is. She is very helpful asking customers if they need help smiling, it’s always a good experience when she’s there. She should give a lesson to a couple of the workers there.

I must clarify that the store is always well stocked and organized. Love this location cause I usually find what I need and more EXCEPT for the management. Terrible to say the very least. This is the third time I have encountered Ms. Tasha the General Store Manager at this location and each time it has been a negative experience.This last encounter occurred today, Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 around 10:35am and it took the cake. She always claims the items I am returning are not Dollar Tree items even with a receipt presented & this time I didn’t just let it go therefore I stated that indeed it was listed and showed it to her. She said No need to get upset. I explained to her the reason I was frustrated was because she had done this to me before. She went on to try to explain that she was just doing her job. And I told her I didn’t need such explanation and that if she was truly doing her job she would actually read the receipts and find the items.She continued to speak over me to explain why she has to verify items being returned. I asked her to stop as it was not needed & she merely continued. She was not trying to defuse the situation in any way. Quite condescending. I asked her name & she said Tasha and said I am the Manager of all this (twirling her finger in the air) reminding me of her title as if it was to mean something even though she was not acting as such.Ms. Tasha then simply stated hey I am not here to argue with you I will just cancel your whole order. And kept repeating the same as a threat! This I found to be very interesting. Didn’t realize businesses were open to not make business? Nor did I think turning away repeat customers would continue to keep your employees paid?Then she began talking under her breath as no one could hear her! There was an older white female (another team member) present while Ms. Tasha was doing this. Ms. Tasha stated the following under her breath LOUDLY : I am not the one. Who she think she is? No not today!I was SHOCKED and SPEECHLESS! As if I didn’t have ears. Very professional to say the least. At the moment I had enough and asked if she could write down her name. Ms. Tasha stated she would not, so I asked for her to spell her name out and she said she didn’t have to. Mind you she was not wearing her store tag so therefore I had to ask. I asked her to repeat her name, she wouldn’t do that either BUT the other team member gave me her name as it became uncomfortable.Sent an email to corporate as well regarding the terrible customer service, the badgering and threatening I encountered. Please keep in mind I have worked over 30 years with, for, and providing services to customers throughout my career and would never think acting in this manner would be okay, let alone professional. Doesn’t seem like Ms. Tasha is worried about any repercussion’s. My mentors would most definitely pull me aside and find out if my career choice was the right one.

This particular dollar tree shelves are never empty. I love that. What I don’t love is the terrible customer service i received today. Cashier Amaya wasn’t bad but the lady working with her was. She has a terrible attitude and should be retrained on how to provide good/friendly customer service. I didn’t get her name because she didn’t have a name tag on. But who ever was working with amaya at the registers on 11/14/23 around 2 or 3 pm. Do better.

I went to dollar tree today and i saw there was 3 hot wheel cases i wanted to look in as a collector. I couldnt get them because it was sitting in the back and the sign stated it was only for workers. I go to the front of the store and ask the workers if they have Hot Wheels in the back and they simply say "everything we have out is what we got" Now i realize dollar tree workers dont even care about proving or checking and they just say stuff for their convenience so they dont want to waste time on a costumers satisfaction.
