“Lake Katherine is amazing. My wife and I take our son for walks over there. You can walk around and view nature. They have a monarch butterfly exhibit that's open in the spring/summer that kids will absolutely love. You can go canoeing in the lake and watch the swans which would be a perfect date with that special someone if you're into that kind of things also with amazing views of wildlife, wild plants, a community garden hidden away in the back that people plant and grow veggies and plants for the local pantry. They have a small book library you can borrow from but please take one, give one if you can. Lake Katherine has a great experience and I'm sure anyone would love it..”

“The workers are extremely friendly, and if you bring a child they have a free toy basket where they can pick out one item. They always have adorable shoes, jewelry, clothes and home decor/glass ware. I believe the money spent goes to an animal rescue which I love! Definitely stop by and check it out to support a good cause ❤️”

I know I'm about to butcher the names right now but I would personally like to thank Cheryl Liz and caryn (sorry if I spelled it wrong) but wow what an amazing group of ppl! Called on such short notice for a mercy meal for a family member we lost. Literally 3 day notice and man oh man did they deliver. And we're so accommodating that it left me speechless. “I started back going to this food pantry after the pandemic but the lady that check you in is rude. She’s only nice to the people that she knows. She tells people there’s a long line and to come back later. I also had to ask her for my ticket to go down stairs and there was only 5 people in line. Someone else was complaining they came that morning and she told them to come back. They tell people the tickets determine what meat they get. One lady left because she had to go to work. She also gave one lady ground turkey when she asked for fish and told her since she did not have a ticket she could only get ground turkey. Please we have to be a little more kind to one another. The team that volunteered before the pandemic was kind to everyone whether they knew you or not. Some of the volunteers are nice but one or 2 mean ones just put some of the people that come in on edge otherwise this is a very nice food pantry.”
“This place was LIFESAVER! My oldest child was struggling with his alphabet and I was worried he was going to be far behind when he got to Kindergarten. Miss G worked with him everyday and really took him under her wing to make sure he was ready. Now in Kindergarten, his teacher says he is the student she calls on when she needs the right answer. A total 180 degree difference. Taking my kids to this daycare was one of the best decisions I have made and the care they received was invaluable. They literally turned the lives around for two kids and helped create a happier, calmer home life for me. They are thoughtful, understanding, flexible and Ms Janenne has a great depth of knowledge on children's peaceful parenting methods, positive psychology and is a great director.”

“Went for the food pantry. The woman who initially signed us in was NOT friendly at all. I would not put her up from to start someone off here. She was pushy and just quite rude. With that being said, when I was called back the man who signed me into the computer was nice, then a lady took me back to pray with me. If you don't believe in prayer this is not the food pantry for you. Then when I went back to get the food everyone was super nice and helpful. ??”
