“This place just puts a smile on your face. This candy store has all the old school candy that takes you back to your childhood. What is even more special are these amazing cupcakes that she makes OMG!! Do yourself a favor and get there and see what all the buzz is about.”
“The salesperson was professional and informed. She was extremely helpful in our selections. Best of all, the chocolates were delicious. Pixies are my favorite but the brownie truffles were scrumptious.”

6351 W 95th St, Oak Lawn“My first time going to this location, after it being stationed at this address for years was back on April 15, 2023. The person serving candy on this day was lady by the name of Max. She was nice, hospitable and just a consummate professional. Because the second time I came to this location (ALMOST A WEEK LATER) the same person Max was there to service candy to the customers on this day. I usually visit the location downtown (NORTH MICHIGAN AVENUE) because it is bigger store with more of a variety but if I am ever in need for chocolate in the future this will probably be my go to location seeing is most locations are starting to close, again makes me filled with SADNESS!!”
“This was my very first time trying and I had called ahead. This place reminds me of my very first job, which was actually me working in the candy store at a very young age. Nice assortment and love the shaved ice. I tried the strawberry plank cookies that was in the store but those aren't the strawberry frosted cookies that I was referring too. Nonetheless the planks was ok, more of a gingerbread taste but not the same strawberry frosted mini cookies that I used to love as a kid. I remember there was this huge store out south near the expressway that sell most of the candy store items and I'm not for sure if you tried them but I hope Wisconsin is not the only place I can get those frosted strawberry or even frosted lemon cookies from. Even though that would be a nice trip. Definitely will come back. Chips with cheese my 2yo loved! Her first experience.”

19027 S Jodi Rd Unit C, Mokena“I have been shopping here since 2020 and the customer service is AMAZING. Whenever I call to place a pick up order for items for my store they always have everything I need and the owner is so nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place for business owners and everyday people they have a large selection of candies old school and all the new candies.”

“THIS LOCATION UNLIKE HOMEWOOD IL LOCATION HAD PLENTY OF CHOCOLATE. THEIR DISPLAYS WERE FILLED WITH CHOCOLATE AND PLENTY OF ASSORTMENT OF DISPLAYS THAT HAD A VARIETY TO CHOSE FROM ON THE SIDES OF THE DISPLAYS IN THE BACKSIDE. THE SERVICE WAS DECENT BUT SHE WAS SAD, SHE DIDNT HONOR MY COUPON BASED ON A MISTAKE FROM CHICAGO RIDGE LOCATION AND THEY DONT TAKE A $100 HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS ANY LONGER AT FANNIE MAE CANDY LOCATIONS.
Parking: PLENTY LOTS”

8513 S Pulaski Rd, Chicago“Found worms in the peanuts a while ago. It wasn't their fault. The employee's were very nice and gave my my money back! They have very good candy though and they sell sugar skulls, piñatas, and a big variety of Mexican candy!”
“Really good selection and great prices on the per lb bulk candy. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but the young man behind the counter made some suggestions that I really enjoyed. You don't see these types of stores too often anymore, so I was really happy to have found it. Most of the negative reviews are customer service based, which we did not experience, but hopefully is addressed because this is an awesome little shop.”
10AM - 6PM
4635 W 63rd St, Chicago“Friendly staff that treats you like family! It is rare when I write a review about a place that I actually like! I love Villa's Nuts & Candy. My husband and I were so overwhelmed by all of their products and we kept asking for an additional ounce or half ounce of something, we kept adding to our order, and Maricela was more than nice. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries and tons of nuts!”
“Trinidads-Pixies-Dark Chocolate Vanilla Buttercreams-Turtles-Mint Meltaways-Peppermint Bark- Toffees-Chocolate Cherries- Colonial Assortment .....and the list goes on and on; Chicagoland and the country has been blessed to have this particular brand over ? years ---- Holidays or any special occasion wouldn't be the same without Fannie May.”
“Just a great little neighborhood gem. The chocolate dipped cherry bites are addictive. Chocolate caramels, dipped pretzels and cookies, so many chocolate choices and so little time! Also, lots of other sweets too. Limited hours so check their website first. Really delicious! Nice people too.”
10AM - 7PM
7148 W 127th St, Palos Heights“One of the best sweets shop I ever found. I would recommend trying a bit of everything and then buying what you like the most. Unfortunately, can't recommend one single item because that will be unfair for the rest of the items. Staff are very friendly. Sweets are always fresh. I can't pass by the area without stopping by.”
“Don’t follow GPS make a right on 72nd then at right at stop sign. Second stop sign make another right. No guard shack just call number post it they will open gate. Check in between door 5/6. They are fairly quick unloading. Over night parking for about 5 trucks outside gate.”
“I visited this store for the first time today 06/17/23. What a cool and terrific idea to have a Spanish version type store that puts you in the mind of The Sweet Factory and FAO Sweets (TAKE OFF OF FAO SWARTZ) of yesteryear and a place which is huge in NYC and now in Chicago called ITS SUGAR. There is a huge variety of candy in the store with plenty of empty Piñatas to choose from. My only complaint is a better spokespersons for the store to bring the buyer/newbie in on these delectable delicious treats. I am not Hispanic or Spanish speaking SO with that being said I am NOT familiar with what these candies have to offer. I sure I am NOT the first to enter the store or look outside the window and go what kind of merchandise is being sold here?!! U want this store to be popular and have some longevity then U have to put yourselves out there a little bit. Granted the loyalty U get from your own can easily be a given but why not think outside the box just a little. Think in terms of the bigger picture because I have tried the Spicy Lollipop years ago back in the 90’s from a Co - worker, who was Mexican. It was actually pretty tasty and so was the popsicles. U might want to branch out this uniquely brand of retail shops SO the masses can probably enjoy. MARKETING MARKETING AND HOW U MARKET IS A BIG PLUS WITH SPECIALITY SHOP LIKE THESE. Someone has already mentioned Samples tasting in the store, promotional cards like Fannie Mae, the local newspapers, TV stations and radio, Social Media, Social Media and more Social Media, more importantly develop a relationship with Bureau of Tourism - TOURISTS FROM THESE SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES OR OTHER COUNTRIES!!! YEAH A BETTER SPOKESMAN OR SPOKESWOMAN IN THE STORE WILL GREATLY BE APPRECIATED.”
“My employer sells Argires products in our cafeteria in Pennsylvania. Probably the best cheddarcorn I've ever had in my life. I've never been a huge fan of caramel corn, but for some reason I really like the way Argires makes it. If I'm ever going to or passing through Chicago I'm definitely going to come check this place out and stock up. Very tasty!”
