There’s a female cashier who claims she can’t figure out how Instacart payments work. She keeps calling it doordash, which might be why she’s never able to figure it out, but regardless, all the Instacart customers get to have their food melt while it’s still in the cart because of this female..
Normally she sends me to another register where I have to wait in line again even though it’s instacart, but today she was the only cashier. There were three other females (including the manager) also ostensibly trying to help, yet none of them was supposedly able to figure out how to take payment, although I’m sure they’ll all still expect equal pay. So after a huge line of other customers was stacked up waiting in line behind me, I eventually decided to have mercy on them, so I cancelled the order and walked out.

Check your dates before you buy something at this place. These were best by 10/29/2022. For the record... we are halfway through 2024, so these expired almost 2 years ago. I'd save yourself food poisoning and shop elsewhere.

Ladies do not go with the man in register it’s happen over 3 times he hands my change back or receipt and touches/grabs my hand in a very uncomfortable way using self checkouts from now on!

The deli was a disappointment. I love the prices of the family meal package but the food not good quality. I hope they can improve their food preparation. Don't let it sit out too long. Or mentality of trying to get rid of it.

Manager should hire twice as many people to operate this location. No reason to force your workers to go understaffed in this day and age.

I just finished shopping here, and there was section of candy bags 50% off the regular price. When I go to pay the cashier, Yesenia rang the candies at full price. I asked her to check the price. It was full price. She voided the price and re scanned the candies. She then tells me that only one will 50%, I tell the section of candy is is supposed to half off regular price. She then looks at the sale sticker and proceeds to tell me that the price on the and scanned is the sale price. What? I told her no the sticker price is regular price. She voids and scans the candies again. I asked did it ring correctly, she said yes. I pay and as I walk out the door I see my receipt.
It is the full price. Rather than being dishonest to the customer to get them to leave, be honest. She should have called for assistance.
I go to the CS counter and speak to Jordan, he sees the error and refunded me the difference. He was nice enough to explain what she did wrong. I told him that I told Yesenia 3 times about the price discrepancy. He did say sorry.
Jewel do better in training/retraining your employees. This was not the first time that I was overcharged or mischarged.
I recommend reviewing your receipts.

I moved to this area last year and this is the closest store but will no longer be shopping here.
Products are not regularly checked for expiration dates. I wind up with at least one item that is expired after each trip. I don’t understand how there are bottles of sauces that expired last year on a display shelf, and FROZEN pizzas that expired.
The pre cut meat section is the same, old cuts sitting out. What good meat that is sitting out are cut horribly.
The store is severely understaffed and unmotivated. Deli counter employees are rude like it’s an inconvenience for them to do their job, and there is never enough checkout lanes open for customers.
Prices at this store are outrageous. shopping here for me is usually around $250. Same shopping at Meijer on Randall is around $160. Overall I would avoid this store and shop at any of the other grocery stores over on Randall.

Go in there late at night about 11pm to get a couple of items and cash back for child's fieldtrip money. The bag of apples scanned twice then I said it scanned twice. The worker looked at me then went to another area to work with his back to me. The automated said help would come soon 2 or 3 times before he finally came over to help. Poor customer service.

Clipped 4U coupons didn't come off (yes they were selected). Should have checked my receipt but was SO aggravated by cashier who, even though my wine was 1st on conveyor waited until all was rung up b4 calling for someone to scan. Of course that person never showed up so apparently my time doesn't matter plus being overcharged $10 and no wine.
