I used to love shopping here but lately every visit offers more disappointment. From sour fruit to deli staff that are rude and can't comply with simple requests. This past Saturday my daughter bought smoked salmon and ate it on Sunday. She wound up getting sick in the middle of the night and when she checked the package she found it expired in 2023! I'm done.

The manager there on Sunday during Easter has the worst customer service ever. She laughed at my face when I told her I was disappointed in the way the business was handled. I tried exchanging moldy tomatoes and you didn’t have any left and she basically told me too bad.

I thought I'd give them a second try. Just moved to the area. NEVER AGAIN. Produce is poor quality. Everyone is glum. No one returns a smile. I saw a worker over stock some lettuce. When it came crashing down, he grabbed it all if the floor and just shoved it back in. Such a disappointment. They are open on the fumes of an old reputation.

Chunky Hispanic girl with glasses has an attitude, she just has got done with a customer and I asked her if she can ring me up she said she was closed (express lane) , I only had 3 items on my cart, it could of took her 2 mins but she proceeded to go use another register.I called her out infront of everyone IF YOU DONT WANT TO WORK STAY HOME , SHES ON THE CLOCK AND IS GETTING PAID. Bad customer service. So happy that I’m moving from Addison area

It used to be my go to place for fruit and vegetables, but recently there are not that many choices, prices not as competitive, product quality not as it used to be. Now even Jewel has better prices and product. Still go there but looking for something that Caputo used to be.

Check your bags before you leave the store. The cashiers are horrible and they don't put all the stuff that you pay in your bags and you will always leave something behind. The store is fine except the cashiers. Its the 2nd time on this location and it seems like it happens on purpose.

Amazing place! Fish is fresh! Produce selection is amazing. ALWAYS very clean! Far better than Jewel. Nice place to relax. Fantastic sales $0.99 a pound on chicken thighs (boneless). Plus they have a bar! Cute chick selling $2 beers. THIS is the place to be!

Zero Stars! Don’t spend a penny at Caputo’s Store!Today is Monday. Not a busy day at Caputo’s Store in Addison! I promise NOT to shop from Caputo’s, as I was always for the past thirty years... Moreover, I will not recommend Caputo Stores to anyone anymore. Here what happened today:My husband and I went shopping today at Caputo’s Store in Addison. When checked out on the cash register, the cashier was extremely RUDE with a very bad attitude, unbelievably slow, and seemed not to know what he was doing. A Spaghetti package opened while he kept flipping it around too much trying to find the QR code. Even though the package opened, this young cashier wanted to put it in the bag. My husband mentioned to this cashier that the package was opened, and we need to exchange it. Rudely, he said “Ok go change it.” (Rude… isn’t it? Bad customer service … isn’t it?). I went to bring another one. When I handed it to the cashier, he took it without even thanking me or apologizing to me for doing the service to myself on his behalf. Sounds funny, but it’s not!My husband was taking the bags to the cart after this cashier rang the items on the cash register. Then the cashier told my husband to bring one bag back to him because he missed ringing one of the items. Again, the lowest of the lowest customer service! The items were inside the bag and suppose the cashier rang them. My husband asked for a manager. A terrible store manager came; his name is GIANCARLO. No wonder the cashier was very RUDE, because GIANCARLO was RUDER. My husband explained to GIANCARLO the incident with the cashier. The only answer of GIANCARLO to my husband was: “we will talk in the end”. GIANCARLO was angry with us, and seemed like he was threating us; he never apologized and had an incredible attitude toward us. Therefore, we told him to take all his merchandise back, and left the store.Long story short, the management and the staff of Caputo’s store seemed in agreement of bad customer service! Very disrespectful! All stores around are better. Caputo’s not recommended….
