While attempting to ask Margret at the cutting counter, who was not interacting with any other customers, where needles were located, a finger was held up in my direction and I was shushed while she continued to talk on the phone (a call that there was no way to tell she was on). Once Margret finally ended her call and allowed me to ask my question she responded in a very short angry manner. I will not be shopping at this location again.

IDK how to rate this. Magority of my visits here have been negative. Very rude staff. And they get frustrated if you ask them a question. They do not seem like they want to help you. Also, on a most recent visit, one of the lady staff members watched me like a hawk as if I would steal something. And stocked me. Seriously?! Plus the material here and other supplies are out priced. Expensive. I can go to a couple of other fabric/craft stores and find same quality or better quality for a much cheaper price. Much. I would say or in my opinion that 90% or even 95% of the time, its not worth coming here. However...they do have a very good sale of select products towards the end of the year. 1 simplicity pattern alone can be 20$ give or take, mostly give. But with their once a year sale, the new price is 2$. Wow! The first day of this sale, i bought about 10 patterns for estimated 20$. Before the sale that would of been 200$ or more. So, in other words... find their really good sales! Other wise you will be paying a pretty penny. This has been my experience.

Impossible to change order address immediately after inputting the wrong address online. Emailed support, was told to get lost "we can't do anything bye." Wasn't even a person, was a bot.

i came here searching for some hocus pocus and star wars fabric, all the way from the midwest ( where there are NO good joanns ). when suddenly 2 grandmas started arguing over some yarn, they were screaming, insulting each other, whatever words you can think of, they said it. all the customers and i were watching this. then one of them ripped a bar off a shelf and started swinging! she lost her grip and it shot directly towards me, my life flashed before my eyes. then suddenly, ken. she pushed me out of the way and we both dodged the bar, then she pulled apart the grappling grandmas while the crowd looked on. she came up with the solution of cutting the yarn in half. ken saved my life and stopped the grandmas from destroying the store. and then she even asked if i needed any help, and of course i still needed my fabric! she brought me to the hocus pocus and star wars fabric. if you ask me, ken deserves the biggest raise, and a permanent employee of the month picture on the wall. best joanns experience ever!

Called twice because I needed to know if they had a certain zipper slider size. I understand it's a specific question and it takes time to check. If the information was available online, I would not have bothered to call. They hung up on me both times after leaving me on hold. If you're that busy, just say so and I'll figure out something else. Like any body calling to confirm availability, I'm trying to save driving 40 min. only to find out you don't have an item.

This is a great craft store with a bunch of supplies for all sorts of craft activities. They don't have a lot of selection in any one craft, but they cover just about all of them.
