The Peppered Mercantile is a cafe and shop that offers outstanding food and perfect, personal service. The ambiance is clean, inviting, and very pretty, with a nice view of the river from the outdoor deck seating. The menu features delicious and unique recipes made with high-quality ingredients and great care. Guests highlight the gluten-free options, including great GF bread and clam chowder, as well as very fresh salads, wraps like the coconut Thai, and specials. The fresh squeezed juices, such as the Serene and Glow medleys, are described as fresh, tangy, and refreshing. Portions are good and the food is consistently delicious. The business also features a variety of clothing and knick knacks for sale in the shop. It is considered a gem, a favorite spot, and a welcomed surprise in town.
A cozy and comfortable spot with amazing views and fresh food. We stayed for a candle making class after dinner. Soup and salad combo was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed a tea party there over the holidays. Lovely owner who makes each visit an enjoyable experience.

We only had 2 juices as our kiddos weren't finding something they wanted on the menu. The Orange Dream and Replenish juices were very good. They are a little on the pricey side but was a fun shop to find something healthy to fill our tummies. Very cute mercantile to shop in!
