The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there is a huge selection of home goods, clothing, and other miscellaneous items. They have a whole floor for shoes, though there is no handicapped/wheelchair access that I noticed. I love coming here.

Awesome local store with a wide selection of outdoor gear at good prices with friendly and helpful staff. Down to earth vibes; a happy antidote to all the over-priced and elitist shopping nearby. I got a new pair of Darn Tough socks here marked down to $18, $7 cheaper than Amazon. Whoo to the oot.

I went in to get 3 items for my dad. having never shopped the store I asked for helped I was Blessed with great staff members. not only did I get what I needed she suggested another item that would make my life better. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They even helped my 84 year mother get a great fitting coat! I don't like going shopping so that was a treat. this store takes service to a top notch level. 83 years in business and now you know why. By the way, rumor has it they started in business and world war 2 broke out. Could there be a correlation? Lol

Bought a pair of NuuSol flipflops last year. Loved them.But last month I wore them a fair amount on a camping trip. They got wet and dry a few times. Nothing more. By the time I got home they had Shrunk a LOT. I can't wear them anymore.Yesterday I took them into Larsons and the young woman in there told me "All rubber shoes shrink in the sun, etc, etc." What bullshit.She said "Sorry, nothing I can do to help you. I sell shoes for a living and ALL rubber shoes shrink" How asinine! I am two or three times older than her and have had many "rubber" shoes, boots and flip-flops and have NEVER had one "shrink"! And FLIP-FLOPS that shrink if they sit out in the sun for a while???!!! Really???!!!That's the last time I'll shop at Larsons OR buy those NuuSol shoes!

Larsen's is one of those sites you might tend to ignore or walk past in today's age of Amazon, Walmart or Macy's etc. However this would a big ole mistake. Tucked away downtown, catercorner from the stores in the bridge, and still thriving since 1908!!!!Example. I had appt in CDA, thought I'd go explore purchasing a man's robe there instead of Sandpoint Christmas). Thought I'd have more choice and a better selection.Well, Macy's sold out?!!! Entire mall nothing, Target, nope. I was exhausted. Called Larsen's said I'm looking, and striking out... Any possibility you have any robes and if black or purple, amazing! (Thinking really long shot )Low and behold, not only a selection at very good price, but purple too! Drove back, great service (staff person actually placed what we had talked about aside for me to look at), and ended up finding something perfect that was fab quality.Same thing has happened to be more then once. You'd think I'd remember to go there first. New Years Resolution!They have everything, men's, women's, and children. So, moral of the story: don't throw opportunity away simply because they've been there for ever (literally). They keep up with the times, have very good quality, and don't overcharge for their goods. Plus, service is always wonderful.Oh, the person in question loved the robe, grin. Happiness!

The folks at Larson’s set the standard in customer service. My family has shopped at Larson’s for decades. Over the years we’ve purchased slippers, Pendleton shirts, jackets, high quality sleds, river float tubes, socks, hats, swimsuits and gloves and they can reshape your felt hats.
