I dont normally leave reviews, but I had an old sony camcorder film that needed to be converted to disk, it took about a week (which is so long when you're excited for your results!) but the price was reasonable for the services! When I came back in to pick up my order the front counter gentleman was so polite, friendly, and charming! I will definitely be coming back if I have any other requests and give them some much deserved service :)

A few weeks ago my wife and I were visiting Northern Idaho from the midwest when I noticed dirt on the sensor of my DSLR. Luckily we were in Sandpoint and came across Image Maker Photo & Video. Mike Hammersberg was kind enough to set aside the work on his table to take a look at my camera. About 3 hours later I had a clean sensor and camera. Thanks to Mike I've got a lot of great pictures from our trip. You just don't see this kind of service these days!!

Image maker, for a lackluster, I mean humble, film shop in little old Sandpoint, ID the prices are exorbitant at best. I was charged $37 to have one role of film developed. I have paid as little as $13 to have a role professionally developed. And I mean 36 exposures black and white on matte prints. And I paid that $13 price less than a year ago. It was however in a different city. After expressing that I couldn't pay $37 per role, I was told by the owners that they would develop a role to a CD for $10 and I could choose which ones to print for 69 cents a print. So, I dropped off two roles of film. When I came back to pick up the CD's and choose my prints the price was $30 for the two CDs instead of $20. The owner denied telling me $10 per CD but then dropped the price $5. As if to prove that he really just wants as much money as he can get. The folks at Image Maker are nothing more than opportunists capitalizing on the lack of competition in Sandpoint. Do not go to this place. It's good to support local business but just because a business is local doesn't mean the owners aren't greedy and the prices aren't exorbitant. Wal-mart was once a local business.
