Went in for an oil change. They told me my front steering ball joint's were loose. They gave me an estimate of somewhere around 550.00 to replace. I was a little suspicious because the car drove perfectly. I took it to another shop a few months later for an oil change and asked them to check the front ball joint's. When I picked it up, they told me it DIDN'T have ball joint's, because it was rack & pinion steering system. They went out of business about a year ago, but I think they're back in business again.

Rob was so great. Very professional found the issue another shop didnt. Got my AC back to cold . Also found a filthy air filter others had missed. Told me my rig was in great shape and was surprised to see 234,000 miles. He made a couple recommendations which i agreed to. Hes got my future biz and i so appreciate him and his mechanic. I had to get an oil change last second before heading back to California and this was the only shop in town that would take me without an appointment. Rob was very accommodating and friendly and got us back on the road. Highly recommended Lemhi Motors!

We were losing radiator fluid and thought we were going to need to replace the radiator while on vacation. Rob checked it out and suggested a new cap on the overflow. Great fix. We would highly recommend Lemhi Motors.

We had a misfire and check engine light come on while visiting family in Salmon. Rob was very knowledgeable about what the likely sources of the problem were. He gave us a worst case scenario before he started. He then showed the problem was much easier to repair. He has us on the road within a day.

Best auto mechanic in a 500 mile radius! We were coming to visit salmon and our water pump went out it ate like 3 gallons of coolant. We took it to Rob Jackson he replaced the water pump and timing belt now our toyota runs like new with no issues on them hills and no funny noises.

heroes, traveling to salmon for a weekend over new years, get to town at 4:00 on Friday afternoon with a clunking in the front end of my truck. the1st shop I stopped at had no one available to work on it on Saturday, 2nd shop was closing in 1/2 hour for 3 days. 3rd times a charm, when I stopped at Lemhi motors , rob not only said he could fit me in , he said he could get it done that night for me, after tearing into it ,he told me both u-joints were bad along with rotors and pads , he was able to get parts before the parts house closed and worked until 8:30 that night. I could have been stuck for days but they helped out a traveler and earned my thanks and a tip .....thanks bob mcdonald

I was towed in on Friday night at 6 after and Rob worked on my truck until 10 PM to get me back to hunting camp for opening day of Elk season. Some other work done after that. They are reasonable and honest as always a pleasure to see.
