Just switched our banking here after 45 years with another institution due to the great personal interaction I had observed during previous visits for a loan. Opening the account was easy and Laci took incredibly kind and professional care of us. We look forward to continuing this great relationship.

Why is the local phone number top secret information? Not to be found (easily, if at all) with basic searches; and my hacking skills are rusty.Instead, call to a main office, sit on hold (we gave up at 15+ minutes) just to be rerouted to a business 1 mile away? That seems like a few too many steps for a simple question.

Ridiculous that companies that claim to be 'community proud', and yet you have to call 100 miles away to get linked back to the office 1 mile away. No local phone number anywhere that we could find. Wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't have to be on hold for an unacceptable amount of time (15+ minutes for our 1 minute question and answer). Want to show your support for your community? Be available for your community.

We love our P1FCU here in St Maries. The girls are always so kind and they know us by name when we walk in the door. We've been members for a long time and we will always bank with Potlatch ?? thank you for being amazing!

Did not tell me the requirements for applying for a credit card at the time I applied, even tho i specifically asked. I was told everything looked perfect and that i would have my card in two weeks. Waited a whole month before losing patience and had to call asking where my card was and was told I didn't meet the requirements.

Networked to my Golden 1 Credit Union and NO FEES! SITREP It's one thing for me to be on my home turf where there are plenty of branches of The Golden 1 Credit Union. If I decide to be lazy and use a Bank ATM (like Bank of American), it's my own fricken fault for getting slammed with those bank ATM fees. I have fair warning. And I had other options.Running around downtown on foot leaves wanting to conserve the foot steps. However, the problem is if you need some quick cash and you are not only out-of-town but OUT-OF-STATE, you may be in an area that has not even hear of The Golden 1 Credit Union. SETUP Now this is not a DIRE problem (such as famine & flocks of locust) since obviously you can use your ATM card at any bank or any other credit union. However, when you are sick of being "nickeled & dimed" for every banking-transaction fee, you want to avoid this crap as much as possible. Usually I got hit with anywhere from a $2-$5 user-transaction fee when I use a bank's or non-networked credit union's ATM (or the more expensive ATM-units set up in Clubs and Pubs). And that doesn't count the $1.75 charge I get hit at the BACK-END by the Golden 1 credit union itself. In San Francisco at one ATM machine inside one of my favorite clubs (okay okay, it's the CAT CLUB), I would have been charged a combined total of $6.75 in both the Front-end & Back-end fees (if I had opted to do so) for just taking out $20. Really? REALLY?!? Frack that crap... So here in St. Maries, I am so relieved to find there are some networked-ATMs help to fill the gap. And on these occasions, it really feels like I've struck GOLD when I can find an ATM machine like at Potlach No 1 Federal Credit Union away without incurring any fees. This is one truly bonus find here in St. Maries, ID. THE LOWDOWN Potlach No 1 Federal Credit Union is a place I am stoked to be doing my ATM transactions (including deposits!) and I have to give them high marks because they are not even my own credit union.
