Hours: Mart Produce is a facility for truck pickups. The process starts at the scale. Drivers must weigh their empty truck and trailer first. A scale ticket is printed, and drivers call the number on it to check in, providing their truck and load numbers. The shipping and holding area is at the back. The customer service is great, with a quick in and out process. It is considered a nice place with nice people. There is overnight parking, lots of space to maneuver, and restrooms for truckers. Loading is fast. However, a significant issue is that trailers are not loaded properly. Pallets are often not fully wrapped, creating a messy and unsafe load that requires extra securing by the driver, which can lead to damage claims. The signage can be unclear, so following instructions is important to avoid confusion.
