Tried to schedule an appointment. Sorry, not taking new clients. Then why allow an appointment making system on your website? And why not specify that this system is only for current customers? You had an opening but you can't honor it because I'm not a previous client? And if no one schedules, then you miss out on new clientele. Too bad because I would have been a big spending client who gives very generous tips in cash.

Salon is clean with easy parking. Pedicure chair was pretty uncomfortable. Service was okay. My nails look good though.

Based on the reviews I read, especially of the owner, Kristine Reynolds, I thought it would be a great place to get a perm especially since I live in the same town. I drove by on March 23 and they were closed. A sign on the door said "by appointment only" with a phone number taped to the door 208-916-1674. Understandable due to Covid. I called March 23 and left a message. I also left a message on March 24 on their website. I did not book an appointment through their website because I wanted to know if they even did perms (their website was vague about perms) and get a quote. I called their Post Falls shop March 24 and they WERE open, and a very nice young lady said she'd get a message to Kristine, the owner, who only works outs of the Rathdrum shop. By March 29, SIX DAYS later, still no return call, so I found in their Facebook postings another phone number 208-304-2453, so I called it. Kristine answered and in a very CURT voice asked "how did you get this number? This is my personal number!" I explained it was posted on her Piper9Salon Facebook page. I also nicely explained I left a message 3 different times to get a call back from HER about getting a perm. She said she'd "call me back when she was back to work". The very next day, March 30, I got a voice mail from her acknowledging my message and she doesn't do perms, but a gal in their Post Falls shop does. WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST TELL ME THAT THE DAY BEFORE? It took 7 DAYS of trying to track them down to give them MY business and for this reason, I would not recommend them. Her attitude and the rude tone in her voice when she answered the phone said it all! And you may ask why did I publish her personal and business numbers in this review, why not? They ARE public on her Facebook page!

Kristine Reynolds is AMAZING!!! I am absolutely thrilled to have found a stylist who truly listens and with her expertise, she gave me realistic options for my hair. I chose the option of less processing to work toward restoring the integrity and health of my hair, and I could not be any happier!! Kristine made my hair look and feel better than it ever did before! She gave me the best haircut, and I was thrilled with the color---the shade could not have been more perfect! So happy to have found a stylist I look forward to going back to and trust! Kristine is a gem! She knows her craft, do not hesitate to go see her, you won't be sorry!!!

I took my daughter to Piper9 as a gift for her 10th birthday. I booked to have her hair cut/styled, and have her nails done (junior gel manicure). The entire experience was wonderful! All the ladies in the salon were welcoming and made my daughter feel special! I enjoyed Judy so much that I booked myself a gel manicure with her! Highly recommend Piper9!
