My wife tells me that her car is making a bad noise. I drive it and confirm, its grinding. I pulled the wheel off and sure enough, the pads are worn. Its Sunday late afternoon. I ran into O'Reillys and picked up new pads. Thats when I noticed the piston on the caliper wont push back in. I call O'Reillys and ask if they have one in stock and they do! I run in a buy it, brining in the old one for the core charge. It's getting late and they close soon. Hopefully everything else goes well. I get the brake done, go to start her car, and it wont start! The battery is dead. Well, I did leave the door open all this time, with the lights on. I put it on the charger, and it shows "replace." I check the date... its not punched. The battery is stock to the car and its 9 years old!! I speed back to O'reillys and, though they were closed, they were still there, and opened the door for me. They let me buy a new battery. Thank you O'Reillys!

The guys and the manager at the store were awesome. My employee had trouble with his truck and they ended up giving him a ride to the truck and giving him a loner a battery to get it to the store to figure out what was wrong let me even lent some of his own tools to help them get it fixed. I highly recommend this place. Thanks guys, you are awesome.

O'Reilly to the rescue again! I always receive excellent service at my local store in Nampa, and it was just the same in Rathdrum. We were stranded on a stormy night in a rental car without functioning windshield fluid sprayers or wipers. The guys in the store helped us determine the issue so we could relay it to the rental company and then welcomed us into their warm store with chairs, a sympathetic ear and the offer of cookies while we waited. When the tow company was severely delayed due to the weather and it became apparent that it was going to be safer to find a way to keep moving rather than waiting and encountering even worse conditions later, they helped us de-ice what we could and we made our way to Ponderay. I'm grateful for their help and hospitality!
