If I could give zero stars I would. One of the only reasons I kept this account after panhandle State Bank was purchased by Columbia Bank, and then again by Umpqua Bank was that they had a branch in downtown Sandpoint that was open on Saturday, the only bank open on Saturday. As a person who does a lot of business on Saturday this made it very convenient. Well I'm quite has decided that they will no longer be open on Saturday, and as I am not impressed at all with their level of service since taking over Columbia Bank, I closed my account after I got a letter stating that my business account will be charged an additional $5 a month for being " inactive " on top of the $3 per month they are charging me for having a balance below their minimum. On top of all this, there is a woman who came to work there after Columbia took over Panhandle, And she is monumentally unpleasant. She always makes things as difficult as she possibly can when I'm trying to conduct a transaction.I never wanted an account with Umpqua Bank, the same as I never wanted an account with Columbia Bank. I opened my account with Panhandle State Bank.
