I had a head gasket repair done to my 1998 RAM 2500 5.9 Cummins at a highly recommended shop in Coeur d'Alene (4.9 stars). They did a good job and the head gasket issue was resolved, but there were some lingering issues that I suspected were from "cutting corners" during the repair. I took the truck back in and they confirmed everything was fine, but I wasn't so sure.
After issues continued to persist, I took the truck into Compass and they quickly discovered that certain parts which should have been replaced during the head gasket repair were re-used, and that when the head studs were installed the valve cover was not "clearanced" for the studs. As a result the valve cover had been slowly leaking.
Beyond that, Compass also found additional minor issues that should have at least been brought to my attention but were not. They explained everything to me in detail and what they would recommend prioritizing for repairs. Just fantastic customer service.
They also have a great system where they text you the estimate and invoices, which allows you to review the issues and easily choose which repairs you would like to authorize or decline. Very quick and easy. 10/10 will be back.”

“On our to Northern California we blew a tire late on a Saturday afternoon!
We didn’t know what to do we had no spare and couldn’t find a tow truck!
Then some nice guys pulled over and told us to call Les Schwab we called and everything from there fell into place.
Sarina found us a tow truck (Clyde’s towing)
She recommended a hotel right next door to the the tire shop ordered our tires that ended up being less than quoted and told us of all the great things to do in Sandpoint.
We ended up with an Air bnb after a few days and haven’t left.
If there was 10 stars that’s what I would leave.
