Can't speak more highly of the owner Sergei his wife Anna. Their ability to teach a child that hard work and continuous effort towards your goals pays off. We've been with them for about 4 years and through their program I've seen our seven-year-old transform from being shy, inattentive and insecure, to confident, calm, and able to focus at a level I don't see in her friends from school. Around year 2-3 she was resistant because the training started to get increasingly difficult and she wanted to try other sports because they looked more fun. We realized that we needed to encourage her more and start giving positive feedback more often in order to get her back on track. When it came time to decide between going 3 hours two times a week to 4 hours two times a week she was the one that told us she wanted to stay longer! We're so proud of her and most of all she's becoming proudand confident with her self. This amazing family of trainers/business owners are a true gem in this city and we are very lucky to have them ❤️ this gym is worth every penny (honestly they could charge close to double and we'd still consider it's worth the cost)P.S. did you know that gymnastics is one of the best ways to get a full ride scholarship to many ivy league and top university schools?

We had a birthday party scheduled today at 1:00. Showed up 30 min early like they said we could to set up, called almost 2 months ago to schedule and showed up today with locked doors and no one answering any phone calls. 10 min after our party was supposed to start we are rushing home to host it there. Not impressed!

I don't like being negative on reviews, but this place needs a makeover. It's been the exact same for 30 years or more. The foam pit is a nightmare. $10 for my 2 year old to run around on a Friday night seems steep. But honestly at least they have something for kids, I just wish they'd invest a little more into the equipment and activities for kids.

Sergey and Anna have been very welcoming to my daughter who is just visiting from out of state and needed a competitive team to practice with. Both are highly experienced and know how to train gymnasts. Yes the gym gets hot but it's not unbearable. If you're looking to get your child into gymnastics or give them foundational skills for other sports this is the gym and these are coaches you're looking for! Thank you so much for letting us join your gym, when we're in town again we'll definitely come back!

If you do not read the fine print in his contract you will be charged every month until you tell them to stop. They refused to refund our money. This in my opinion is not a very honest way of doing business.

Pro tip: If you're signing up for summer lessons, avoid the afternoon/early evening classes if you can. It is disgustingly hot. The kids constantly ask for water breaks and sweat profusely. My child loved their class. I was not impressed. Despite signing two kids up at the same time. One never made it on the roll the whole first month. And with alternating teachers they didn't know her name till week 5. So that first month a student-teacher bond wasn't really built. I was surprised how hands off the teachers were. They would show a skill and then let the kids practice without very much guidance or correction. And while I didn't have very many expectations. I had hoped that they would be able to do a rudimentary cartwheel by the end of 9 weeks and $135 per kid. ($35 registration fee, $50/month). They did become more familiar with the equipment but my kid only really improved on one skill and it was one we also practice at home. However, people who do the competitive gymnastics seem happy with it. The Ninja/parkour class doesn't have a specific age requirement but it's geared towards about 8-10yrs. Maybe younger if they are super athletic and can intuitively follow directions.

My daughter joined the team at Popov Gymnastics Academy last winter. I have been so impressed by the organization, work ethic and integrity of the owner/head coach, Sergey Popov. He has brought out the best in my daughter. Her experiences at competitions this year has steadily improved. He has an excellent staff and clean, bright facility. We highly recommend Popov Gymnastics.

This facility is very clean, bright and welcoming! My daughter attends this gym as a team member attending twenty hours a week. I can't say enough great things about our coaches. They are dedicated to the success and well being of our children. If you're skeptical, just go down and sneak a peek.
