1601 Bannock Hwy, PocatelloTook my dog there because he had an infection by his privates. Alta wouldn't even see him without $200 to get through their doors. Took dog to another vet in town that took my dog in immediately got the burrowed grass seed out that caused the infection and he made a great recovery. other vet charged me $250 TOTAL. would have been close to $500 through Alta. With my experience it seemed like Alta is more concerned about how fat your wallet is rather than the health of your pet.

The staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate our bunnies' feeding and snacking habits. Thelma and Louise had no signs of trauma (which they often do when faced with a stressful situation).I would recommend them for boarding your exotic pets.

Most importantly, Jim really made sure we knew the high drive dog we were getting and was as selective with who he chose to be a guardian for his puppies as we were with selecting a breeder. We have an amazing dog that loves to work, but with a great off switch when it’s time to lay down at my desk.

Filled up our waters any time they were even a little bit empty and we got asked multiple times if we needed anything / how everything was. Will definitely be back again if we find ourselves in the area. Must try if you are an Indian food lover!

A lovely time on the deck at PVBs, enjoying a delicious mushroom burger, crispy beef tallow fries, PVBs very own sarsaparilla and a complimentary chia dessert made with the Penny's super tasty/super probiotic yogurt drizzled with Mountain Sweeties Apiaries honey. Great quality and variety on this one-page menu. Happy to be enjoying PVBs and friends out on the deck again!

Steered us to using olive oil as the base on our pizza since the marinara sauce they use has parmesan in it. The Groundhog pizza with light vegan cheese was delicious, crust was perfect. The fries were delicious with the garlic, but very strong. I would ask for light garlic. I didn't ask if the beers were vegan because I knew my husband, who is not as strict with his vegan diet as I am, would order them anyway. Updated from previous review on 2025-10-23

Bannock Humane Society
850 Barton Rd, PocatelloI am so impressed with the Bannock Humane Society! Our backyard fence got blown open allowing our dog to escape while we were away. A sweet lady picked her up and took her in. They quickly notified us and took care of our girl until we got the voicemail. They went above and beyond taking her back to our house making sure she went in through the doggy door and shutting our gate. We are so thankful for Daniel and everyone else who helped out with our girl.
