Maniac Mechanic is the most professional shop I have worked with. I called in the morning and no one answered but I received a personal text message that he would call me as soon as possible. After returning my call I brought down my vehicle to him and he got it in right away. I will be returning there for any future work. Thank you Jordan for your work on my Nissan Armada!

This will be my mechanic! As a young girl i was worried I would be taken advantage of however this place is fair and explains the issue to you and has reasonable pricing for their work. he texted me a few days after and asked how my car is running that this is overall such a professional place. I will be coming here for my car needs they are definitely someone you can trust!

My vehicle was leaking a lot of oil and I was frantically contacting mechanics to get it diagnosed/repaired. Some I contacted never answered, said they were too busy, or to drop the car off and they would get to it in maybe a week or two. I stumbled across Manic Mechanic and was very skeptical about all the 5 star reviews. I decided to call and so happy I did! Jordan was so kind and informative. He allowed me to bring my car over without an appointment and looked at it right when I arrived. He immediately knew what the problem was and explained everything in detail about the process, parts, pricing, etc. He fixed up my car without any issues and it's running great again. I never give reviews, but this place deserves it! I will never go to another mechanic!

My long-time mechanic recently retired, so in the process of finding a replacement I stumbled on Manic Mechanic. I don't know exactly what I expected, but it absolutely wasn't what I experienced, in a good way. Jordan was incredibly friendly and professional. I received a level of customer service I'd expect from a high-end car dealership, not a small-town hole-in-the-wall shop. They did quick work, the price seemed very reasonable, and best of all, they seemed honest (I went in literally asking for them to find problems to fix, and they didn't take advantage of the situation). Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be bringing all our cars here in the future.

Jordan did a great job. My Volvo is not easy to diagnose or fix and he did both with a reasonable rate and even attended to a few other things with no charge. Really appreciate finding someone who does such good work here in Pocatello. Thanks!

so impressed with these guys that above and beyond is an understatement. They came highly recommended by the local community and still blew our minds!Jordan is super friendly and very intelligent. This guy's brain is like an infinite database of information on vehicles its like he's got a reflexive response to anything and everything car related.We've been struggling to get to the bottom of some problems with our Yukon and have had some great mechanics look at it but the source wasn't identified. within 20 minutes of looking at it he had the problem solved and notices some things that I was unaware of. I had some other concerns and he quickly put them to rest.Before I called to schedule my 150k service and get a check engine light looked at I noticed an oil leak. I'd been putting this call off because looking for a new mechanic is a frustrating process but he squeezed me in so I could still drive my vehicle as it's our family wagon (GMC Yukon...no van for this fam). That alone was such a blessing for us and meant the world to my wife and I.These guys don't try to take you to the cleaners and won't tell you that you need new brakes or front suspension when you don't (I can 100 percent verify this). They also as I stated before seem to have a 6th sense for my car and know it better than anyone I've yet spoken to (shops, friends, and online forums).They take photos, call to check in as they progress, and get you in quickly. I dropped my car off on Friday and had it back at the end of the day. They did a lot of stuff on it that day and I exoected to have it in there for a few days.They also listen to the customer. I'm sure I'm missing some details because we had a lot of things going on but this is the first time in a while I've felt that we're making progress with this vehicle.All I can say is WOW, thank you guys, and God Bless yall for being amazing! see ya in a couple weeks!

Update to my initial review below: I have continued to use Manic Mechanic for several vehicles and routine oil changes. Jordan is great to work with, super honest, and we can't say enough good. Glad to have someone local we can trust.--After spending 3 months and going to 3 different reputable mechanics, these guys figured out what was wrong with my truck. On my way back to California I had a wheel bearing go out. Manic mechanic took care my problem and got me back on the road asap. Professional, courteous and very competent mechanic. If he was in California he would be 100% my go to guy. Fair and reasonable pricing. I even got a follow up call to make sure I got home safe and no problems with the repair. Manic mechanic gets 10 stars outta 5. Thank you Jordan for all your help and for doing such an awesome job!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Our son and his girlfriend broke down in Pocatello, which is 4 hours from us and 4 hours from where they live. It was 1am and we had his car towed to this shop. Jordan was amazing! He got it repaired the same day and he even texted my son a few days later to check in and make sure there were no problems. If this place wasn't so far away, we would only use them for any car repairs!

Honestly I was a little skeptical of this place having so many 5 star reviews, but they were 5 star worthy. Granted I only took it in for a diagnosis but the service I got was amazing! Even after I told him I was probably just going to do the repairs myself he continued to talk to me about HOW to do the repair. If you don't know what is going on with your car take it here for at least a diagnosis. Well worth it! Thanks again!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Manic Mechanic has been my go-to mechanic for my young but needy F150 (and other vehicles) for over two years, and I've always been completely satisfied with his work. He's very knowledgeable about my vehicle, and common problems that vehicle experiences. I'm a customer for life.
