I have been a member of Costco since it first opened its store in Chubbuck/Pocatello. I used to love everything about Costco but last time I shopped there I was prohibited from paying for my items until my husband came out of the restroom to show his face because I was using his card. It did’t matter that I’m the primary member holder. This was embarrassing! My husband and I were shopping together and he stepped away to use the restroom while I paid for our items. I asked if this was their new policy and they said yes. They said many people have been loaning their member card out to non household members and they were cracking down. I understand Costco wanting to enforce their policy but there must be a better way. They risk losing happy customers because of how they have chosen to handle this. I know other people this has happened to and it’s very unfortunate. I will also be making a formal complaint.

This Costco location is usually well stocked on most items, with good prices on their bulk items. They also have samples from time to time, so you can try on many of the items you're curious about before you buy them. They have a great return policy. They have good friendly employees. They have a pharmacy, optical center, Audiologists, tire center and food court.

I love this store. My wallet does not. It’s got such great deals and so many unique items. They are always switching out things so it’s always worth making a trip every couple weeks. The staff have been there for forever so I usually recognize faces. They have some of the best deals in town

Great prices on some things compared to WinCo or Walmart, and some things are more expensive. You just need to know what you want. There is a lot to look at and consider. I love their food court and free samples. It has been worth the membership so far.

Clean store, great staff and really work to always have inventory. Also has gas station, tires, vision center, pharmacy and small deli area.
