I'm sorry I am a Costco addict! I'm sure many of the employees know my husband as the crazy Vikings waffle guy! The employees have always gone above and beyond for us! Including searching all over the store for waffles the computer said they had! Yep we will be lifetime members!

I lived here for almost a decade and a half and we do have to shop in Pocatello mostly due to distance, not all good things can be bought at Ken's or Bezos-mart. So even though it still takes couple dozen miles to and from for a grocery shopping we still have to make the trip or combine it with any other visits to Poky for different reasons. In my life I traveled even further and noticed there are far more polite places and more diversity in products available, but one has to settle and keep the commute reasonable especially with gas prices like that. I mostly shop here because my old lady keeps insisting they have great deals which in all honesty are still there, even though some are becoming not that substantial lately and even Interstate car batteries which were $75.99 are now $110.99 and, you know, not everyone got bonuses and raises last 2-3 years. There are few appreciable deals here and there that is very true like Samsung washers and dryers are cheaper compared to same models sold by Sam's club 45 miles away. And customer service had been improved lately compared to 2022 visits. A guy with neatly trimmed full beard I forgot his name helped me a lot even to look for items that were listed on the website, but I had trouble locating at the actual store. Also a guy at the check out who helped me locate and asked someone to bring a food product I could not find myself. Fresh produce is still not entirely fresh 10lb bags of onions had some rotten ones. I used to buy some wine and beer from them mostly seasonally, but lately Tammy killed all the desire to purchase any adult beverages from them. I am in my 40s do use some beer or wine with an evening meal, not every day, not with every meal. Ok I do understand I may had been looking awfully young (I'd take it as a compliment) so I was asked for an ID. I do drive a lot and always have a valid ID on me that I would not mind showing. Ok, I'll take it all the way out of the wallet. Nope you should not scan it. How many people with same name and exact DOB bought anything at your store today? In the area that is known to discriminate even against tea and coffee drinking crowd would I want you to put me and my name, address, age, and physical description in a special database (that's the info barcode of DL contains)? Hard pass. See I am not rebellious or belligerent I showed you my ID with DOB matching what you have on record on the first demand, now either get off your high horse and sell me the item or cancel the last transaction and put the item back on the shelf. Keep it easy. I buy most beverages here seasonally as I do not consider most of the regularly available ones drinkable so it is easy for me to skip. Won't jump trough hoops to buy beer or wine. Can always buy it elsewhere or not. Not a big deal. If not my wife who insisted her ID should be scanned I was eager to cancel the transaction and not to buy beer at Costco. I already have to be checked out at the exit door. And I am all for keeping retail experiences fast and simple. No need for 2 forms of ID to check the age. Hopefully new store would move in soon with better choice of drinkable beverages.

The worst Costco I have ever been in. Checker was rude and even though I am 75 years young, refused to sell me wine without an ID stating it was Idaho law. I wend down the road and bought wine at WinCo and Fred Meyer without any ID and without the rude hassle. I wish now I hadn't shopped there at all which included $113.00 gas. Loads of people clogging the lanes while feeding lunch to their families. Way too many samplers and few filled carts. Not for me and I spend a lot of money in Costco. Tires, car, furniture, plants/shrubs and lots of food. I won't shop your stinking Pocatello location again. I'm sure your wine sales will drop...since corporate is so proud of those sales. Also the worst thing was that as I was leaving the parking lot to continue down Yellowstone, the little dormant and stiff trees scraped holes all along my motorhomes awning and damaged it so badly I will have to replace it. The road was very narrow and with traffic, it was impossible to avoid them, had I even noticed them. I shop Costco in several states and cities but I will never go back to this one. Got my return gas and groceries somewhere else this time.

I will be putting in a more complete review later but I am switching pharmacies after just a few months because I am just blown away with how terrible their customer service at this pharmacy is. Rude, unhelpful, and passive aggressive are just a few adjectives I would use to describe my experience with the their staff. If I ever witnessed one of my employees treat a guest the way they treated me, they would be fired on the spot.

The pharmacy at Costco isn’t very friendly and never really goes out of their way to fill special medicine and say the can’t get it! But Walgreen immediately gets it order! Why?

I noticed that many of the bad reviews were from people that have only reviewed 1 or 2 places. Not sure why that is. It takes a lot before I give someplace a 1 or 5 star review. I can share my experience. I changed to Costco when another pharmacy wanted a lot of money for a med. Costco saved me over $100 on one proscription. They have also have me enough meds to get by until they had enough to fill a 90 order. They always have been very friendly, even if it is right at closing time. They check what insurance and discounts are thebest price for my wife and I. Only drawback I have is no online management of my medications for ordering and filling. They take a little time to fill orders, but what place does not. Fo me, they have been a great experience and cost savings. Depending on which medications and insurance you have, you may have a different experience on savings. I research costs on GoodRX before going and know I won't have to pay more then that, usually less. Not sure why they have a sign requiring masks and they don't wear one?
