This practice ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make sure our dogs have the best care possible. We’ve been clients of this practice for close to a decade, and I can’t imagine trusting anywhere else with our beloved 4-legged family members. We love CAH and will be lifelong clients of this incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated practice. We trust them with our girls’ medical care and boarding, as well as their staff for pet sitting referrals. Thank you CAH!

This is the only place I bring my cats. I’ve had a couple serious emergencies they took care of. I had to put one of my cats down recently unfortunately. The vet sent a sympathy card that everyone signed and made me cry during the middle of the day.

Prompt appointments when needed. Good care. surgery fees were reasonable. Office visit/consultation fee was higher than an MD seeing a person for the same kind of visit and time. Would recommend.

[The worst in town].I took Chelsey my 13 year old Shih Tzu to Community Animal Hospital for a second opinion before she passed away in horrible pain from [Osteosarcoma] (dog bone cancer). They said it would take a hour to look at her.I dropped her off at 10:00 a.m.I called at 11:09am and they were not doneThey told me [Alpert the DVM Surgery Doctor]went to lunch.I called back until around 5:00 p.m.The [secretary]would answer the phone and ignore me and make me talk to myself without a answer back from her.She also lied to me saying I could make a part down payment or half down to pay for bill. Then she told me I could not because they don't do that.Every time I called her all day i could hear my dog barking in back ground and she only barks when being ignored or being teased. They stopped answering the phone so I had to drive there to see what was going on.I got there around 5:00 pm and I had to sit in the waiting room for over a hour while [Dr.Alpert] the DVM Surgery Doctor took her sweet time. Her oversized cat would not leave me alone. Her oversized cat came to me and rubbed me down and covered me with cat hair while trying to sit on my lap the whole time.I heard my dog barking the whole time while I waited for her and I new she was in a room by herself. They sent me to another room to wait for the doctor.[Dr.Alpert]the surgery doctor came in with her hand shaking the whole time.I said how long is this going to take.I got to be to work at 6:00 p.m and it is almost 6:00 p.m now.I might be get fired. She raised her to voice and got a little rude about it.I also noticed the [Owner]does not answer all the reviews. He only picks out the ones he wants to answer. That is messed up.He should answer all of them. Please dont take your animals here.[This place really sucks]

My service dog of 6 years started having end of life related health issues. I knew there wasn't anything anyone could do besides make her as comfortable as possible. As soon as her liver and kidneys started shutting down I was faced with a difficult decision on weather to keep her alive for my own selfish reasons or let her pass peacefully with those who love her surrounding her. I reached out to Animal Community Hospital and the guided me through this difficult decision. All of the staff there was so incredibly patient and kind. They stayed open a bit later to squeeze her in and did not rush me at all. They were so compassionate and caring towards not only me but My pup Stella as well. They comforted me to the best of their abilities and took care of everything for me. Yesterday I received a card in the mail with the staff expressing their condolences. The best part is they donated money on behalf of my dog to someone else who needs the help. They are so amazing and wonderful to work with. Thank you for being there through this difficult time.

Brought in my cat a while ago for a chipped tooth. He stopped eating and got weak. The vet diagnosed him without any tests even though I said I was concerned about more than just his tooth. They told me they didn't have a vet available to do an extraction so they gave us a single dose of a pain drug which was great for him. no other vet in town had a dentist. i asked at the initial appointment about infections because i know it was infected due to the smell. They, again, said not to worry about it and that he would be fine. He kept getting worse. nobody in a 75 mile radius could pull his tooth. not entirely thier fault again. i called a few weeks later and they told me they had an open spot for surgery. I had to call them back after contacting my work to make sure i could get the day off. 2 minutes later they could no longer schedule him. I had to force feed him. At that point he couldn't even jump on my bed. A few days before he died I called them again, asking for another dose of the drug they gave him. I had accepted he would die at that point and I just didn't want his last few days to hurt. They told me they didn't have a doctor that could perscribe it and would call me back the next morning. They never did. A family member was able to find a different vet 2 days later and we brought him in where he was diagnosed with cancer. A cancer they said he could have survived had his tooth been taken care of, or at the very LEAST he had been given antibiotics he would have gone up to about 50% chance of survival. He died the next day. i waited a few weeks to post this review because i was so angry. they still haven't called me about the drug. He was only 8 years old and so full of life but the neglect of the irresponcible vets lead to him dying in agony.

Love how you guys are with the animal's and how you guys have it where people can bring in money and make an account so they can put money away and people can use the money on their account to pay for what they need to when it comes to bring their fur babies in to be seen

We came from Twin Falls to have our dog PennHIP tested. They got us in quickly and were great to our dog. We got our results back quickly as well. Dr. Alpert called us to explain our test results and answered all of our questions. Great experience!
