“I was traveling from Utah to Montana when my car broke down. I had a bad alternator put in. It was close to 5pm when I ended up in this town that I've never even heard of before. I had a rough stretch of recent car trouble at this time and it was gut turning realizing my car was still not fixed at this point and I was far from home. Not many places could help me and I called literally everywhere. This place got me in that same night. I booked a hotel and he even dropped me off at my hotel and picked me up when my car was ready. The price was incredibly reasonable and the work was quick and well done. I would highly recommend this place! This happened about 3 months ago at this point but someone I was talking to at work today said their husband is going to pocatello for some training working on railroads and it reminded me of the guy at this place and what happened so I came back to leave a review. Definitely recommend taking your car here!”

“Definitely shop at Sterling battery company the battery my son needed for his car nowhere else in town had in stock. It looks like we were going to have to wait 2 to 3 weeks for him to have a battery we were so worried that we were going to have to rent a car until we could get a battery for his car but that was not the case. Sterling had the battery not only did they have the battery it was the most reasonably priced place to get the battery. The staff was super helpful and friendly. You leave here with a smile on your face good quality service. This is one of the great reasons I love shopping local you get to meet the amazing people like we've got two at Sterling and you get amazing service I just have not had this type of service at other places that are in Pocatello definitely worth shopping here for your battery needs.”

“Store#1190! I came in on a Tuesday night, ran into the store panicking...and thank goodness for this man! JOEY S. NEEDS A MANAGER JOB OR RAISE. The back driver window stopped rolling up and it was negative temperatures, working at INL and driving the only borrowed car i could get, of course my luck right!? He not only knew exactly what it was, but sat and helped me try and try to get the window up, in the freezing, he told me hed hold it while i run in to get duck tape, he knew what aisle and waited...i ran back out and again freezing, the sweetheart still holding my window cold, started telling me how and where to place the tape, 2 weeks now, it manages to hold till its fixed! Thank you joey! You WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME, AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSE... and made sure to show me, teach me something new, and diagnose my panic and problem in seconds. “I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler JKU with an unlimited powertrain warranty. Lithia honored the warranty and replaced my manual transmission under warranty. It took 3 months to get the transmission in because of supply chain issues but Tom warned me it might be 5 months like the last Jeep they repaired. Tom, Tash the mechanic, and Sheldon the parts manager helped me out by ordering parts like a B&M Shifter and a Center Force Clutch kit for my Jeep. The extra parts weren't covered under warranty but I didn't get overcharged on the parts. They did a great job. Is it any wonder why Lithia has sponsored the East Idaho Jeep Club. Thanks Lithia.”

“I was traveling through Idaho on my motorcycle headed to Montana, I lost power to the bike, which has happened before on a previous battery and stopped in Pocatello, ID for the night, I went in to the store Sun morning and Roger provided me with great customer service! I had a warranty on my current battery, he swapped me out w/a new battery and I was back on the road w/in 30min! No hassel, no questions asked, just great conversation about riding motorcycles! Thank you again Mr. Roger, you helped me out tremendously during my time in need! Side note, I made it up to Montana and back home safely to San Diego, CA! Thanks again sir!”

“We had some car issues with our Prius while on a road trip to Idaho. I called another dealership and was told the next appt wasn't for 5 days. My husband tried to diagnose and fix what he could without tools but it wasn't fixing the problem. I randomly called this dealership out of desperation and was transferred to the service Dept which also said they didn't have appts for 5 days. I explained to the gal on the phone that we couldn't wait til Monday because we needed to be back to work on Monday in California. She said she'd have me speak to Jamal. I speak to Jamal and explain to him what's going on with the car and he said, if you can bring the car by we can plug it in to the code reader to see what's going on. So we rush to get there about an hour before they close and they got us in just in time to figure out that we shouldn't drive the car. They weren't exactly sure what was going on yet but said there might be a good chance they could figure it out and fix it if we left it overnight because they could continue in the morning. I was skeptical because I didn't want to get stuck in Pocatello for a week once they took the car apart plus thought they would rape us in price especially since we weren't local. We were kind of at their mercy but they did us right. Everyone was friendly while we waited. The inside of the dealership was comfortable and they had the nicest bathrooms I've seen in a dealership. There was a good selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate while we waited. Jamal kept us informed on the timing and what to expect. He went above and beyond to help us. We ended up having to leave the car there to wait for parts for a day, Jamal found us a rental car. He literally saved our vacation and we were able to finish exploring Idaho while we waited for the car to be fixed. The parts came in as expected and to our surprise, all of the work was under warranty. It barely cost us anything. I can't say enough about the customer service we received from this dealership. Jamal was very genuine and honest, he deserves a shout out for getting us home safely and letting us leave Idaho with good memories. Thank you also to the shuttle drivers that shuttled us to and from our hotel: George and the young man from Davis going to college. We are so happy we left our trust in you all. Thanks so much from the Gay's from California!”
