We love visiting, this is a great spot and the waters are so calming. Our kids enjoy it very much, and thr added bonus of the pool tables and other games in the main building. The prices are good for admission and the employees are wonderful. They have plenty of life jackets available for all ages. The only minor complaint I could offer is that the water fountain that sprays hot water into the main pool is maybe too aggressive, it makes about 1/4 of the large pool unusable which is a bummer on busy days.

Just went and while it’s not a five star resort, I loved the value. My kids enjoyed the games in the lodge. The hot springs is resourced for the whole lot so that means a warm flushing toilet. I ain’t complaining bout that.
The young lady working there was super nice and accommodating. Bring your own food. There are some snacks for purchase but pricey and not a lot of options though the freeze dried fruit was yummy!
Two pools. One small for relaxing hot soaks only. Bigger pool for swimming fun. There are life jackets for kids which was nice. Bring your own floats if you wish. Basketball hoop and balls. Family friendly. Some of the elder ladies that didn’t want to be splashed weren’t very friendly. But with all due respect I mean c’mon. If you don’t want to get wet, don’t go to a pool with kids. Sorry not sorry. We stayed the day. Great value! Definitely will go again if we’re in the area.

July 2024: We stopped by on our way home to Spokane, WA. We paid $12 each to swim. It was summer and hot so they had cooled the pools down as much as possible. The big pool was 89°F and was 3ft at the shallow end and 9ft at the deep end. The smaller soaking pool next to it was kept at 102°F and could easily hold 10-15 people. The young lady at the front desk said that they keep the pools hotter in the winter, about 98°F for the big one and 106° for the smaller one. I'd love to visit in the winter and try them then too. We rented a basket for $2 to hold our stuff as there are no bags/purses allowed by the pool area. We soaked for a couple of hours and then got changed in their changing rooms. Interestingly, there are bathrooms at Zims but no showers because there is no cold water at all on site. They use the hot spring water for everything, even watering the plants! We ate lunch at Zims as the huge entry area had picnic tables and was air conditioned. They also had a nursing room, lounge area, pool tables, and an air hockey table. I enjoyed the experience and would love to go again!

Good place for hot springs but it’s really old and dated. I would like to see an update done to this hot springs to bring it back from the 90’s.
Great place for kids to play in shallow water and they have 2 pools, one is hot and the other is slightly cooler.

Pools are wonderful! 2 pools, 2 water temperatures. Facility is rustic. There are a lot of Edward Curtis photo prints to look at and all have good labeling about subject..
Host, Larry, is very knowledgeable & personable. He certainly knows how to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Such a great place. Old-school Idaho. Very friendly staff. I remember going here with my grandparents. A little rustic but that adds to the charm.
