I am a frequent shopper in Lowes. 2 days in a row I recieved excellent help from Larry in electrical. day 1 my gfi breaker tripped inside the main breaker box. Larry walked me through replacing it. day 2 I was looking for a 90 degree connector for conduit. Larry came to the rescue again.

I had to deal with an out-of-state situation with getting a dishwasher delivered and I had a unique circumstance that was challenging to deal with. I ended working with Christie who's one of the store managers at this store and she was great to work with despite the challenging situation involving in-store credit. She made the process very easy and was able to help me out significantly. If she's the example of workers at this Lowe's, then this store should be doing well. Not sure why the bad reviews here.

I bought a general 6500 generator and didn't need it until now. I went to start it and it started dumping gas all over the floor so I brought it back to Lowe's. No luck is what they told us. I've never used it and I have the transaction records. Never shop here again

Our storm door install was cancelled 4 times and rescheduled only to be cancelled again. They refuse to work with us yet charge our credit card $1200 for the door and install which was purchased in early April. This company operates in a culture of deviance and mistrust characterized by departments who do not communicate with each other and employees who lie to customers. The end result are customers who suffer the consequences of an inept company. We will never do business again with Lowes.

I went to Lowe's to get an outdoor water spigot. I spent 20 minutes searching for it, getting advice from 4 employees as to what aisle it was on. None of them had an accurate location. A fifth employee directed me to the right spot. When I got there, the parts were all mixed up in different boxes and I had to search through five boxes to find the right parts. Terrible experience.

It might be just coincidences but every time I go to Lowe's (and it's not that often), for one reason or another, I have a problem with the service (or lack thereof) or with a product. For example, one time I made a special stop to buy aluminum screen for a window but the size I needed was crushed in the middle (all 3 that were in stock, were unusuable) I eventually took the time to talk to the store manager about the problems I'd experienced and told him I would no longer shop at Lowe's. Today I returned a small $15 hand pump which I have owned for possibly a year. Here is the problem; I could never get the pump to work, trying several times so I finally decided to take it back with no reciept and no packaging. I figured I'd just get store credit. The return counter person asked me to retrieve one off the shelf so she could have a reference number. After searching the store for 10-15 minutes, I went back to the return counter only to find a long line. Once I got to the register with a new packaged pump, we realized there was a small hose missing with my return and was told I couldn't return it without the part. I told her the pump never worked. I walked out leaving my pump with her. This experience is just one in a long line of mishaps. I will never step foot in a Lowe's store again.

After spending over an hour picking out my new appliance set, and verifying everything was in stock before paying, I come to pick it up the next day to find out they sold my dishwasher to someone else and now expect me to wait several weeks for a new one!! Terrible terrible customer service. They rolled their eyes at me several times and had a snobby attitude over their f up. Not one person apologized to us the entire time. Won't be spending my money with them anymore

The lady at the shelf check was Soo rude. I was carrying a big box and asked an employee if she could scan this for me since they didn't have any scanners. She didn't say anything and just went and pushed the numbers in. We Nicely said oh you don't have a scanner also. Then she got all bitchy and says you can go to a normal regular. We go wow you don't have to be mean. She goes well I didn't help you not a mean voice. It was likely she didn't want to help us and would rather talk to her co worker. My dad told me he had to talk to the manager about two other employees in the passed. We Won't be back.
