Signs on every bin of thread read, “buy 3 get 2 free” I got 5 and was charged for 5! Took my receipt in and they refused to reimburse me as the date of expiration was 2 weeks old!!! Pull the ad signs and stop false advertising! Will never go back. Period.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Joann's; they have amazing sales. However, you can't take advantage of these amazing sales because they never have anything I want in stock! SO frustrating. I have been trying to buy some of their Big Twist Posh and their newest (to me) Baby Bear, but they have been out of stock for months! At the store and the warehouse. Maybe I'm just being impatient, but I will be really upset if, when they finally get them IN stock, they won't have such a good sale going on. I am sure others share my frustration.

I just wanted a refund for an item they left out of the bag in the pickup order. I didn't forget the item, they did. Apparently an online refund wasn't possible for some reason. I'm not impressed by this store. I will be getting items elsewhere from now on.

Limited stock, store appears dirty. Parking lot is horrible.Full of pot holes, standing water, it is awful.

I just had the worst experience at the store in Nampa. I went in to pick up an order that was ready for pick up. I decided to pick up a couple of things while there. I was checked out by a very rude lady whose name I was told was Tammy. My order was not there. She made no effort to try and help. Literally telling me while I was at the counter checking out with her that she was currently pulling an order for someone else so she had to do that first. Even though the person she was pulling the order for was not at the store. I could literally see the yarn I had ordered in a bag in a cart behind the counter but she said it was for someone else. She proceeded to help several other people. Whom she was also rude to. She never did help me. I had to leave without my yarn which is unfortunately for an order I have to get done asap. If I could buy that yarn at another store and never have to deal with that lady again I would. She should not be in customer service.

Having a crafty family means we go to craft stores a LOT, and this Joann’s is one of our main go-to’s. I will say, we refer to it as, “Sketchy Joann’s” for obvious reasons listed in other reviews, but the staff there is AWESOME. Yes, they’re in a shady back parking lot of the connected abandoned mall with no windows and one entrance/exit, but it’s not their fault! ? Yes, the parking lot is a disaster and you need 4WD to navigate most of it, but it’s a great store! We may have decided not to purchase anything edible there because of the one time we all bought 8 month expired drinks, but to be fair, who purchases drinks at Joann’s?I have many stories of the staff being kind and wonderful, but this one is my favorite:One year at holiday time, my oldest daughter was in dire need of yarn to finish making gifts and as we waited in a long line, my 4 year old started absolutely melting down. It was a full blown, 5-alarm fit. One of the associates found it in the goodness of her heart to take us (sneak us really, she was like, “psst… follow me… be discreet…”) to the back of the store and ring us up, essentially saving our lives and the ears of all the other shoppers so we could get what we needed instead of needing to leave with a screaming child and no precious treasures. She saved Christmas. Thank you, staff of Sketchy Joann’s. Keep on, keeping on. You’re all rocking it in that situation, and I hope they give you a bonus for any damage being done to your vehicles to get to work and give it your all everyday.

Though getting to the store is tricky- thank you out of state owners of Karcher mall, this store always has great sales and good products. Hopefully someday they can move to a location that is easy to navigate!

Ordered vinyl online. Drove an hour from home to pick it up, waited in 2 lines for an item I had already paid for to be told we don't have any. Sorry. I said it shows being processed here. Manager Gina told me we have 3 hours. I said so you will have it in 3 hours? And she then said we have 3 days! I said but you won't have it in 3 days either will you? She then deleted my order and said no and turned around to leave. No offer to call when it came in, check with 3 other locations of JoAnns nearby. Good thing they have little competition because they have no customer service. I won't ever go in there again. Thanks Gina.

Made in store purchase for pick up. Arrived at store to be told it takes at least 2 hours for purchases to post at their stores system before they can gather the order. Which means what I bought may not even be there by the time they get my order!!

So overwhelmingly disorganized, cluttered, and dirty. I regret going there every time I step through the door and 9/10 I leave without buying anything because I either can’t find it or become too overstimulated looking for it.
