Ryan was great! We have been to the Boise location a few times and this was our first time at the Nampa location he was great with our 15 month old! Knowledgeable and kind!

Very disappointed in my pictures from JCP Studio/LifeTouch. This is the first time the entire family was together for a family photo since 2019. The photographer was new (had never done a group of 13) and had trouble positioning us for the photo. The result was 20% of the group photos did not have the back drop-the had a metal curtain clip above my granddaughter's head. The Life Tourh/Shuuterfly experience was equally poor. It took over a week and three phone calls (long wait time) to get my digital album that the email said was there. The Shutterfly help agent had trouble understanding the issue and LifeTouch was closed the week after Christmas so no service available. Not satisfaction from JCP/Lifetouch when I showed them the issue except for their apologies.

Today, December 20, 23, I went with my family to the photo shoot but they are not professional at all ? they have no style to accommodate you as a photographer, my photos are not to my taste, apart from the fact that they are expensive ? I only leave them one star and if not If there was a star, I wouldn't give them anything ?? I'm not happy, because the “photographer” asked us how we wanted to pose, I think if you're a photographer you don't have to ask those things ?I won't go back to that place.

Do not recommend at all, was told I would have a one day turnaround but it’s been over 1 week. Have been calling and leaving voicemails but they will not respond or answer any phones.

Margo did my hair. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She did exactly as I asked and I love it! Made my next two appointments with her before I even left!

Ellen was our photographer and she was AWESOME!!! She wrangled my three daughters, ages 18mo, 4 and 6, and got genuine smiles out of all of them! Ellen was so helpful and nice!!

It felt very rushed. 20 minutes not enough time. Doing graduation pictures. The photographer had daughter take cap of and that gave her messy hair for pictures. I couldn't tell until we looked at pictures.

They were extremely over booked. The staff was very unfriendly and did not do good with our small children. I had booked ahead of time and told them how many people but when we got there they said they didn’t expect that many people even though I could see it all on the paper in her hand. Then they told me I would only be able to do one background and no outfit changes! We got maybe two good pictures out of the entire session. The whole thing was very rushed and super unprofessional. We will not be returning.

If you have eye glasses the photographers are not trained to take your picture. Then you have to retrieve your pictures from Shutterfly, it is no longer in JCPenneys hands. They say you will receive a message in about 24 hours. It's been weeks we have yet to hear from them. After complaining, we did get an email from someone at JCPenneys with a link to access our pictures, but not the print we paid for, and too late for us to meet the deadline we had needed the portrait picture for in the first place. We have yet to receive any notice from Shutterfly about our picture. Boo. We have just taken it as a bad lesson learned and found a professional elsewhere to take the portrait that we needed. We strongly do not recommend JCPenney Portrait Studios.
